The main ingredient in the dish is ninety pounds of raw horse or cow meat. It also consists of a pan of chicken necks, half a cup of table salt, and half a cup of granulated garlic powder. One cup of Mazola corn oil and three cups of electrolyte powder called Electro Dex are mixed in as well. Along with eleven pans of Purina Hi Pro dog food and two pans of bran, give or take the amount of dogs you are trying to feed or in the kennel. My Multi-Cultural Experience: Red Earth Day PSY/400 July 30, 2011 My Multi-Cultural Experience The multicultural experience is based in exposure and immersion in cultural concepts not “normal” to an individual. This concept may seem foreign to most but it is something we experience on a fairly regular basis. The opportunities for immersion in another culture can be found around most every corner here in America as the melting pot of the world accepts more and more people. Everything from dining experiences to shopping gives an individual the opportunity to experience the cultures of the world. Here in Oklahoma we have a rather unique opportunity to experience any number of cultures on just about any given day as the state is a nice mix of many cultures and ethnicities.
Yeah that’s what I like. I would have this Thanksgiving in my house. In this 34 feet long and 6 feet wide wooden table, filled with my favorite food specially that juicy flavored food that would make your mouth drop and watered like I’m doing right now, just by thinking about it. In the middle of the table 2 large stuffed turkeys 10 inches apart. The table would also have * Soft warm bread that just got out the oven; * Extra Hot Wings with fries, a lot of ranch; * Mom’s delicious Mexican style beans and rice and a lot of bacon to eat like I’ve never eaten before; * For the drinks would include unlimited Dr. Pepper, unlimited Pepsi, unlimited sweet tea, and unlimited hot drinks for the cold weather.
Marian Blazes an author for About.com explains the process, “The asado begins in the late afternoon. The sausages and maybe some grilled provolone cheese are first off the grill, while everyone is still standing and drinking Malbec wine and beer. The ribs are next, and then the more serious cuts of meat, which are served with a simple salad and maybe some grilled corn. The meats are served with traditional sauces, such as garlicky green chimichurri sauce, or spicy salsa criolla” (The South American Parilla, Blazes). Anyone who attended an authentic Argentine Asado might agree that they would not go back to an American BBQ after the experience.
When we got there it was still an hour away from shooting time. As my friend Luke and I sat patiently in the duck blind, we heard wood ducks whistling in the trees 90 feet from our blind that’s when we knew it was going to be a good hunt. Then I saw the outline of a group of Teal zoom right over the decoys. Without warning, a lone drake Widgeon landed in our decoys. With 20 minutes until shooting time, Luke and I could only sit and watch the Widgeon fly away into the darkness.
We were seated one table away from the front of the stage and right in front of what I would come to realize was the entrance for the performers. The definite difference that sets this restaurant apart, aside from the show, was the overall atmosphere of its patrons and employees. Many people are regulars and there is an air of silliness and fun that puts you at ease upon being seated. Everyone seems to be very aware of the fact that you can eat a hamburger and what a drag queen perform is just meant for a good time and not to be taken very seriously. There is so much laughter all around you even before the performers come out The seats were bar stool high so we had a good view of the stage and the place in general.
“Driving on the Beach” I myself am going to support beach driving in everyway possible. People come to Daytona Beach and surrounding areas to be able to drive on the beach and enjoy it. Yes there has been many injuries and unfortunately some deaths because of motor vehicles on the beach, but is it really the person driving the cars fault? Again I am just telling my opinion and that’s all it is. Beach driving creates so much revenue for the county of Volusia and that is money the county uses to improve our cities.
The topic of savory is kind of tricky because when I think of a savory dish my mind immediately goes to home cooking. My mother’s southern/Asian style cuisine is the best thing I have ever tasted. We have roast, steak, potatoes, and pasta. Typically anything savory can refer to something I find rich or wholesome. Which so happens to be homemade non-sweet meals in my house.
Also, try to avoid parentheses when possible, and where did you find the Latin name? Be sure to include this in the “References” at the end. To cite the source of the Latin name, you will do a simple (author_lastname, date) in parentheses which is why they should be avoided :) ] or wild leeks are the stinky springtime treasure of the Appalachian region–the white parts can be used in cooking similar to a strong onion or garlic, and the leafy greens are just as edible. Most people enjoy them fried in bacon grease by themselves or chopped and fried in with potatoes and eggs. I personally enjoy them fried in bacon grease.
