Later on, when Huck realizes that the thieves are stuck on the boat and they might die, even though they’re bad people, Huck knows he should do the right thing, so he tries to have them rescued. Throughout the journey, Huck never pays attention to society’s thoughts but towards the end, he begins getting mixed thoughts. When he almost turns Jim into the slave catchers, he realizes that Jim is his best friend, and when he thinks he is doing the right thing by writing the letter to Ms. Watson, he then realizes that Jim does not deserve that.

Towards the end of the movie they plan a way to get out and Nunu’s son was not involved because he was a head slave and followed God. When they first started to pan out the attack and plan to get out shola did not want to help out but soon she did because she was getting abused by her master and at night she was raped. Shola’s love shango knew that Nunu’s son was going to be a problem and would get in there way so he made up a poison that would make him sick and hallucinate. In the end that turned out to be a problem when they were exacuting there attack, before they could attack and leave he started to attack his mother and killed her at the river.

Two of the most influential people, Father Barry and Edie Doyle constantly remind Terry to listen to his conscience. ‘On the Waterfront’ takes the audience on a journey through terry’s life, which gives them an insight into his life and dilemmas which he faces along the way. Terry’s redemption took time and was aided by the support of others. When Johnny Friendly’s gang murders his brother Charlie, Terry realizes the union corruption makes the decision to go against the union and make them pay, now that he’s felt the pain personally.
Discuss how the director of The Cove subverts expected conventions of documentary to persuade the audience to a point of view. Despite conforming to the conventions of an investigative documentary ‘The Cove’ covertly seeks to persuade viewers to a particular point of view. The film is set in the small fishing village of Taiji Japan, and features the industry based around capturing and or killing dolphins. The purpose of the film is to inform its audience of the industry and try to persuade them to become activists to stop it. Although Louie Psihoyos has used fundamental aspects of a documentary for this film, such as location shots and interviews with key people, he has diverged from a traditional documentary through the inclusion of visually confronting footage and persuasive filmic techniques.
In performing the ritual of throwing the flowers into the river, it releases Mark of the overabundance of unhealthy guilt. The flowers transform from a thing of trepidation to an icon of beauty. While still at Kurdistan, Mark undergoes a survivors’ guilt as he deems himself liable to the hastening colin’s death, feeling responsible to both Colin and his wife. This guilt further intensifies as fails to bring Colin’s body home. In a life lesson taught by Talzani, Mark has to learn to ‘forget the dead’ and ‘turn away from the past’, to realize that he is not responsible for the death of his friend and failing to bring his body back.
