Elizabeth I was the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. She was the second youngest out of her half-siblings, Edward VI and Mary I. As a child and a young lady, she was kept secluded, thus causing her to often keep thoughts and feelings in. However, at the age of twenty-five, she rose to claim the throne of England. Queen Elizabeth encountered lots of controversy during her rule as a woman.
Motivation Evaluation Sherry Jenkins PSY/230 February 24, 2013 Aaron Thompson Motivation Evaluation Diana, Princess of Wales was born Diana Frances Spencer, on July 01, 1961, at Park House near Sandringham, Norfolk. Her mother and father were Viscount and Viscountess Althrop. She had two sisters older than her and one younger brother. Diana’s troubles would start at a young age because her insecurities would manifest despite the privilege her life provided. She was no stranger to the royal family since she played with Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
Now that’s growing up without a childhood. Jane Smiley seems like a great parent who cares about her children but to allow her daughters to put on makeup even entering their teenage years just isn’t right. Her girls where prematurely growing up, where behaving beyond their age, and with their only priority being beautiful at all times it seem to help them in the long run. As they burned off the “Barbie stage” and grew into more important things down their lives. Like for example Smiley talks about her older daughter, “Now she is planning to graduate school and law school and become an expert on woman’s health issues, perhaps adolescent health issues like anorexia and bulimia” (377).
Ellen’s brother Vance, had stayed with their birth dad at Metairie, Louisiana. DeGeneres was raised as a Christian Scientist until the age of thirteen. One down side was, Ellen was sexually abused by her stepfather, while her mother was struggling through breast cancer. Ellen’s mother would be crying about her divorce and Ellen would make her happy from how funny she is. Overall, her mother was still one of her strong supporters even though she was gay.
She had been adverted to consider the spousal relationship as a responsibility and burgeon and may well have implied that at that time the factor of sensuality was missing on her side. All her relationships were qualified by caution, solicitude, and kindliness. Three years afterwards she wedded her 5th cousin, Franklin Roosevelt, an appropriate fit for a woman of her assort. But Franklin's overly-protective mother shortly set out to broaden her dominance over her recent daughter-in-law. "I was beginning to be an entirely dependent person," Eleanor stated, "someone always to decide everything for me."
Life Span Development and Personality If you speak to anyone about Oprah, they will be able to tell you that she is one of the most influential and dynamic people of our time. However, not many know of where she came from and what her home life was like growing up. Oprah Winfrey was born on January 29, 1954 in a small town in Mississippi. She was born to unwed teenagers, Vernita Lee and Vernon Winfrey, and lived with her grandparents until they were not able to provide for her due to health reasons. During her time with her grandparents, she gained a passion for reading and writing, allowing her to excel in school and surpass her other classmates (Winfrey O. , 2008).
Reese H. One of the most inspiring women to me is Oprah Gail Winfrey. She was born on January 29, 1954 at 7:51 P.M. EST in Kosciusko, Mississippi, USA. Oprah was the daughter of two unwed teens, Vernita Lee and Vernon Winfrey. Oprah had two siblings, one half brother and one half sister, that both died. Oprah was originally named “Orpah” after the Biblical character in the book of Ruth, but there was a typo on her birth certificate.
The Princess Puzzle One of the great mysteries of history is the fate of Anastasia Romanov, the last of four daughters born to the Tsar of Russia, Nicholas II and his wife, Alexandra. The story of the remarkable young lady is known all around the world as simply, “The Lost Princess”. Born on June 18, 1901, in the Kremlin Winter Palace- the suite of the Empress, Anastasia, whose full name is Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia, was born to a large family of six, later to be seven. Her parents and the rest of the Russian Empire were anticipating a male baby, praying that Nicholas II would receive an heir. All of Russia let out their breath when it was announced that a fourth daughter to the Romanov family had been delivered.
Her father had a nice job, which sometimes kept him away, but he always brought gifts for his family, to show his care for them. Meanwhile her mother was the hostess who entertained anyone who knocked on her door, and provided everyone with gifts. The life before the war comfortable, yet filled with embarrassments at times from the cultural ways of her ancestry, even though they weren't strict followers. She describes her life as always being surrounded by people, friends of parents, who visited constantly, which vexed her because her mother could hardly find time to herself and with her daughters. The deep generosity of her family shows the good morals that she grew up with, as her mother taught her and her sister that "Indifference is the worst fault of all" .

When I was trying to think about whom I wanted to write about, I wanted to get someone really good. I wanted to find someone who could be a good example of how everyone should and can be involved in service, even if you are one of the wealthiest people alive.
