“Our Vanishing Nights” It appears that artificial lights are in every existing city around the world. Whether it’s by- street lamps, house lamps, light from shops, lights from malls, hotels…etc lights is everywhere. Even the moon's bright light shines down to our cities, not only just to brightened our pathway but it also adds to our nightly city light.But, have you ever noticed why you cant see the stars in the night city sky? or ever compared the stars in the city as the ones you see while camping? Even if every day less and less stars are seen in the sky no one cares to wonder why. Simply is because all the urban city lights that we have in our cities are decreasing the ability to see the night sky and we can blame it on our urban light…show more content…

This type of light pollution is so much easier to solve. Instead of having the light of cities flash out into the sky, which is unnecessary, we should just improve our lighting. Light pollution as Klinkenborg stated "is largely a result of bad lighting," (pg358) basically he says we should re think the way the designs for lighting is. Instead of shinning it out we should try to condense the lighting to ourselves. By doing this it will help to stop the alterations of light levels that we are creating and it wont hurt the environment. By doing something about it it can easily solve a problem that wont be added to our list of environmental pollution problems. It will just be one less thing to worry
