Tuition reimbursement programs provide employees across the United States with a strong incentive to further their education by either paying part or all of the cost. It is estimated that $10 billion is put into the furtherance of employee education every year, and about six million people benefit from tuition reimbursement (Acemoglu & Jorn, 2008). Some organizations make tuition reimbursement available to all employees while others offer tuition reimbursement to employees in specific cadres. Employers set particular conditions for employees wishing to benefit from the program. According to the Benefits USA 2010/2011, 63.7% of employers require that employers continue to work for them for at least 15 months after the completion of their education (Loewenstein & James, 1999).
Starting teacher salaries are about $45,530 if you have a bachelor’s degree and no prior teaching experience. If you have your master’s degree and 8 years of teaching experience then you can have a salary of $74,796. For a charter schools’ teacher you can earn up to $100,049 per year. One of the fundamental question, whether higher pay for teacher is a key to improving schools. Some charter schools are trying out to see if promising to pay teachers $125,000 plus a potentially bonus based on school wide performance will help.

Our employees are challenged with finding the best care close to them with availability to meet their demands on the family as well as Illinois College.
I think students should get paid at school because students will learn to be independent. If students get good marks they will earn money. Since the students will earn money, they will rely on themselves to buy supplies, clothes, games and more for themselves. Students will not have to go to their parents to ask for money to buy things. Students won’t have to go their parents to ask for money when there are fundraisers at school or any trips.

Patrick Winters 3/20/15 Research Paper Proposal “I am entirely certain that twenty years from now we will look back at education as it is practiced in most schools today and wonder that we could have tolerated anything so primitive.” John W. Gardner. Since the early 1980’s the United States Department of Education has pushed a mandate that required states to raise the standardized test scores of students in public schools. This headlong rush to improve the “numbers”, that so-called experts have determined is the only true measure of student success or failure, has had the effect of substantially watering down, or “dumbing down” the curriculum being taught in American public schools. So what factors are influencing this decades long trend that has educators teaching a curriculum that is often described as, “a mile wide, and a foot deep”, and will this lowering of standards in order to produce desired statistical outcomes result in American public schools producing students who are significantly less intelligent, both cognitively and content wise, than both American students of past generations and their peers from around the globe? The paper will examine this question from three different perspectives.
Workers without a high school diploma earn about $21,000 a year in Georgia, compared to $26,000 for those with a diploma and $43,000 from college graduates," one administrator said. For these reasons, the administrators say they are not going to tolerate truancy anymore. Some states in the East have applied this method to persuade students to go to school. Governor of Minnesota, Tim Pawlenty says," Students are much more likely to succeed in school if they're regularly showing up for classes. Linking
These types of tests are important in measuring student’s intellect, in this case determining if they are ready for college. Teachers get paid to prepare for that next step after high school, but it’s also up to the students to take their education seriously. In the 2009-2010 school years, 84% of the students passed (Holloway). Surely, students must be doing something right. This test has been administered since 1987, and more than half of other states have similar tests (Holloway), so why stop
Once this question is answer I will incorporate the critical thinking process into the answer and how it can be used in other areas. Finally, I will discuss the steps that are used to ensure that the critical thinking process is used in the future. I personally believe that an education will increase your potential earnings and allotted for you to have a better quality of life. In the past I have earned up to $80,000 without a degree. Then the economy started to change and the recess took place.
