Small World ensures safety, love, and quality care in every aspect of childcare and security/privacy is nothing short of just that! I would also like to comment on a recent observation I made with “Kayleigh” an ABC Teacher with an ECE masters degree at Small World. Kayleigh has a very bubbly, outgoing, and motivated personality. She works hard to ensure love is given to each individual child. She always greets the parents with the children in the morning using puppets, or any form of communication that is available at the particular time.
“And here is your lanyard, I replied, which I made with a little help from a counselor (29-30.) In this line, we grasp how the narrator feels confident that the lanyard he braided would give his mother the passionate satisfaction that she once gave him. One of the key phrases in this line that demonstrates self- confidence in the narrator is “with a little help from a counselor”. With that help he received, he feels that the lanyard is something huge that can recompense his mother. The other tone that is seen throughout this poem is the mother’s responses.
She respected him and served him. However, he was very supportive towards her career as a midwife. At home, day after day, there were meals to cook, cows to milk, fires to build, dishes and clothes to wash. Watching the film after a while, Ballard received help with some housework “As the daughters got older it was advantage for Martha because she can go and deliver babies which paid a lot of money” (Hist-201-003, classnotes, October22, 2013). Herberth 1 Wendy Herberth Mr. Smith ENG1101 E-Learning November 18, 2012 "Mommy dearest" "Mirror mirror on the wall", I am really like my mother after all. Daughter and mother relationships are something so valuable and should be treasured in my opinion. Many young girls admire their mothers, as they are their very first friend. They are each other's confidantes and pals. A mothers duty is to protect their young, and giving birth to a baby girl is a miracle, but then raising a daughter is a whole different miracle.
Shari makes it her obligation to always ask questions about the history of her ancestors. She loves her culture and would not change it for the world. Shari is very appreciative and blessed to be part of a culture with so much history. Shari longs for the day when she will have children and be able to teach them the customs and life style of Haiti’s culture. To conclude, no matter a person’s background, his or her family has an important tradition(s) that is held close to the heart.
She is known as the backbone of the family. If it was not for her, the family would have most likely fall apart. She makes sure that everyone treats each other like a family should. Raising all of us like sibling rather than cousins was the method she always used in order to keep the family bond close and unbreakable. No matter what happens, she makes sure that everyone is happy and joyful.
Negrin was the nicest teacher in the world. At the end of every day we would get a candy if we were good all day long. She was the teacher for almost every subject, so we spent a lot of time in her room. My music teacher was Mrs. Matthews she was so fun and made every music class a blast. She loved every one of us and made us all feel special.
But, her foster parents supported her as much as they could, and encouraged her to become involved in school academics and sports to keep her active and busy. The turning point for the family came one day when Nai was sent to her middle school’s principal’s office for wearing a sleeveless shirt. The principal called Nai’s foster mom to come to the school for a meeting. Nai recalls, “When my foster mom arrived at the principal’s office, she said, ‘My daughter hasn’t done anything wrong.’ She backed me up and supported me.” It was then that Nai realized that her foster mom would, “always be there for me and support
Next year I know I will miss the comforting feeling I receive when I walk into her classroom. It was an absolute honor to learn and work with Mrs. Perkins. No words can express how grateful I am for all of her hard work and effort. A good teacher is one that helps students to understand difficult concepts, but Mrs. Perkins is a great educator that not only motivates teenagers, but sincerely cares for and helps each of her students. Because of her, I am now able to thoroughly enjoy and understand music.
1. As a teacher, I can promote resilience in my classroom by creating positive and caring relationships with my parents and children. Promoting caring relationships with my families would be top priority in my classroom. Parents have to trust that their children are safe and welled cared for when they leave their children in my care. For example, I would host a family day where the students can bring their parent s to school for the day.
