The film Boys of Baraka shows the story of four young twelve years old boys from one of the most dangerous and violent ghettos in Baltimore. Directed by Ewing and Grady, they used different themes and film techniques to show how the boys got a second chance in education and life. The theme that was carried throughout this documentary was that there is always hope and with help, you could go far in life. The film dealt with kids whose parents have failed them and those who are in risk of not graduating and in risk of going to jail early. One of them was dealing with a mother on drugs.
Fruitvale Station was a 90-minute ambitious do-gooder film directed by Ryan Coogler, looking at the glimpse of the events leading up to the senseless murder of (Whitaker & Coogler, 2013). a young black man named Oscar Grant by a Bart police officer in 2009. I just don’t understand black men are humans are they not? Not monsters, but reflecting on what I watched and the way those young black men were treated I think otherwise. The movie in a nut about Oscar Grant, a 22-year young black man who had trouble in the past with the law, a beautiful young daughter, recently was fired from his job at the local supermarket.

From that point, we are taken back to the day before the crash, seeing the lives of several characters, and the problems each encounters during that day.
The Other Wes Moore is about two totally different boys who share the same name. They are one year apart from each other and were born blocks apart from each other in the same troubled city. One grew up be a successful man who was a Rhodes scholar, served in the army, and was a business leader. The other is serving a life sentence in prison for attempted murder. This story revolves around two main characters, which are both named Wes Moore.

21 Jump Street is a classical action-comedy from the half-remembered TV show in the 1980s featuring Johnny Depp. The movie features Schmidt (Jonah Hill) & Jenko (Channing Tatum) as the two main stars. Jenko was the big muscle guy with all the looks and the popularity in high school where as Schmidt has all the brains but is the awkward student. The Chemistry is remarkable. They both had their problems in high school but now are ready to leave them all behind and join the police academy and the secret Jump Street unit 7 years down the line.
In A Gaggle of Saints by Neil Labute, the sense of violence is felt from beginning to end in fact the way the couple, John and sue, met was in fact a violent one. They where in High school, Sue had a boyfriend they had separated a few weeks before the incident. John and Sue where both jogging in the track when her ex-boyfriend pulls up in his car and walks up to john and says “Hey” without hesitation at all John flips him over at starts a vicious attack on him, trough all this sue is simply standing there.
