Let’s Meet Doraemon at Fujiko F. Fujio Museum By ikaizzle Who doesn’t know about Doraemon? Who didn’t grow up with Doraemon? Of course we all know about Doraemon and it is a part of our childhood memories. Doraemon is a robotic cat who travels back in time from 22nd century to aid a pre-teen boy named Nobita. Fujiko F. Fujio museum also known as Doraemon museum is located in the suburb area of Kawasaki, Japan. This a museum dedicated to Doraemon’s creator, Fujiko Fujio and all of his creations. In this museum we can see history of Doraemon and the documentary about Fujiko Fujio’s life. Doraemon is not only his creation but he also makes other anime, one of them is P-man. Before we go to the museum we can buy ticket only through Lawson convenience stores within Japan using their Loppi automatic ticket machines, it because the tickets are not sold at the museum. Admission fee 1000 yen (adults), 700 yen (12-18years old), 500 yen (4-11years old), free (under 4) and there is no limit on how long you can stay once you are in. In indoor area this museum shows so many sketches about Doraemon and we can see how Doraemon looks like when the creator draws for the first time. But we don’t allow to use our camera in sketch area because the flash of the camera will make the color on the sketches will not as good as the original. Not only see the sketches but we also can watch Doraemon short movie in theatre, the short movie’s duration is about 15 to 20 minutes with Japanese language so we can feel so close with Doraemon and his friends. After watch movie we can visit the Doraemon café, this café has menu which use Doraemon themed. We can eat Dorayaki (Doraemon’s favorite food) as much as we want to eat, the price is about 130 yen besides Dorayaki we can order adorable latte art.
