Also we are able to see “Eugene” zombie fiddles with the gas pump from where he worked (Brains, Article “zombies have memories”), like he needed to do the job. I believe this is the most obvious way that Romero is trying to prove that zombies can have intelligence. Not only is there a leader zombie, but he teaches them to use weapons. One of the main characters played by Tom Savini, unfortunately becomes a zombie and he seeks revenge on the man in charge played by Dennis Hopper. Even as a zombie his goal remains the same, to seek our Hopper’s character and destroy him, one way or another.

Up until this point of the story, we can assume that this hunter is possibly a normal man. It is not until he is described chewing the raw meat of his catch that we think differently of him. Soon after we learn he is really a vile creature of the forest, he reveals his hairy body to the grandmother and then eats her up. In “The Werewolf,” Red Riding Hood is instructed
Jack becomes very popular amongst the boys because of his ability to hunt and the courage he has to kill a live animal with his own bare hands. Jack is the only person on that island with a knife and he has the knowledge on how to use it effectively, e.g. for food and other necessities; “He snatched his knife out of the sheath and slammed it into a tree trunk”. This particular action and his ability to hunt, alongside his great strength, frightens the boys, causing them to feel obliged to agreeing with everything Jack requests and demands. This also means that Jack has created a sense of fear and unfairness in the group of stranded boys, which is not was is expected in a civilisation.
Zombies, or whatever turns regular human beings into zombies, change that drastically. The essence of life leaves the human body for the most part, and a physical representation of death is all that is left. The change in the body’s appearance is obvious. Imagine that you are talking to your friend Jeffery about the previous episode of The Walking Dead when a zombie runs up to you, and tackles and bites your friend. You manage to kill the zombie, but not too long after that something is different about your friend, aside from the bite on his shoulder.

Another coincidence is that Stanley drops the spade back down the mountain and has to waste time by going down to get it. In this story Stanley had behaved really well.

For some reason the thought of our deceased loved ones coming back to life and preying on our brains strikes fear into the hearts of the living. Within the confinement of these pages I will illustrate what a “zombie” film should and should not entail, and how far the image of the zombie has progressed into our modern day visage of the term.
