ESSAY # 2 IS PRISON A SOLUTION? The objective of Prison is to restore the people to society after they have broken, some legal rights. The prison system looks to introduce some community service. There are some advantages and disadvantages when they try to help some criminals. Some questions arise: How they can help themselves and the community? What is the impact in society, cost, security, and taxes all those things around prison? In fact prison help to reduce the crime, violence. What do you think? Is true or not? Currently the rehabilitation of criminals has also focus with community, they can study inside of prison some specific career or acquire some skills and knowledge. However the securities play an important role inside of prison, consequently they need a training program to attend a security, follow some basic rules for dealing with different kind of people. For many years the prison have been built outside of the cities, as a result to separate the criminals of community and security by itself. What should prison be for criminals to integrate again in society? The job and action must be recognized by society. What should the punishment be for criminals? Spent 20 years in prison. After time it is possible to integrate those people to community. They have some emotional impact after live in a prison. People have more confidence in justice system now than 20 years ago. The prison has really a system that rehabilitates people to integrate to community. Therefore some specific prison have bad reputation about to integrate some criminals to community, sometimes a prison is a school to learn bad habits, consume drugs, tobacco, sex abuse and so on. Then the prison in some case is not a solution to punishment some crimes or law breaking. In fact is only one option there are different ways that they can pay according with type of law
