Why cant we make a perfect society? I have 2 real life examples: Hitler Germany The Nazi regime attempted, in an unprecedented manner, to establish a system of rule based upon race. He wanted Germany to be pure, seeing Germany as a perfect country for German nationals. Stalin’s USSR Attempted creating a workers’ utopia and trying to rid Russia of capitalism. He made the idea of socialism very appealing to the workers, who made up most of the nation’s population. A perfect society would be a society where everybody is equal, however each of the examples there was one leader who attempted to create a society which was perfect from only his point of view, and not everybody was equal. However, there we're lethal of creating a perfect society, e.g When Hitler became chancellor in 1933, the Nazi party conducted vicious propaganda against the Jewish race. Later when he got full control of the Reichstag and declared war, he started the Holocaust. The Holocaust was the systematic annihilation of six million Jews by the Nazi regime during World War 2. Stalin had similar actions, but towards his people. During the Great Purges, over the period of 2 years from 1936 to 1938 he killed 20 million people. Both Stalin and Hitler used their power and the secret police to control the people with fear. After all it was just a perfect society only in the eyes of the dictators. The idea of a perfect society is totally subjective. It is unknown how each person perceives their perfect society. It is entirely dependant on each
