When the reading did start the narrator read the first few lines very quickly. It was hard to keep up with her right at the start. Let’s just say that I stayed around because I was still enticed by the heading, “What are the three things in life that we all need to be happy”. Lastly, but not least I expected to at least another student there but it

The teacher provided the following chemical equation to describe the burning, or combustion, in the candle: Hydrocarbon fuel + O2 ( CO2 + H2O The candle we used was a small, white emergency candle about 3.5 cm tall. The candle had already been used by someone else because I could see from the black wick that it had been lit before. When we lit the candle I noticed that at first it was only the wick that was burning. Eventually, after the flame
This pokes fun at modern advertising’s attempts to dazzle customers with fancy words that have no real meaning, known as glittering generalities. The article continues with a quote from “biotrician” Dr. Wayne Frankel, “MagnaSoles convert the wearer’s own energy to match the Earth’s natural vibrational rate of 32.805 kilofrankels.” His title as a “biotrician” and use of his self-coined term “kilofrankels” are both satire. Both poke fun at the arrogance of scientifically “impressive” sounding testimonials in advertisements. This scientist is so legitimate that he has his own unit named after him! Towards the end of the article, there are two more testimonials for the MagnaSoles shoe inserts.
GLASS MENAGERIE – SCENE 7 The scene is broken into four sections – - in the first section Jim helps Amanda with the “fuse”. They find out that the fuses are fine but the lights went out owing to Tom not paying he electricity bill. Amanda’s character is revealed as a very resourceful and dignified - – she makes light of the incident and even provides the candles - - Amanda speaks to Jim with a sophistication that we see with no one else. - Amanda’s Dialogue: “Isn’t electricity a mysterious thing ….. some people say science clears up all the mysteries for us, In my opinion it only creates more.” - The cyclorama is also used effectively in this darks scene – when the lights go off the legend on the scene says “suspension of a public service” referring to the cutting off of the electricity but also referring to the gentleman caller who is about to perform a public service with Laura The second section of he the scene is Laura and Jim alone in the living room - the scene begins with the legend on the cyclorama saying “I don’t suppose you remember me at all” reflects Laura’s words before she even says it and, at the same time as a thematic banner for their scene together. - Laura and Jim share a long scene stylistically lit up by candle light.

My favorite story was the emergence of throwing away. I find it funny how everyone was okay with sharing cups that were barely washed out or hardly ever cleaned after someone else would use them and then all of a sudden “health cups were created” then there was the emergence of Dixie cups. This story is a perfect example of how things change and evolve over time. It’s almost like nowadays people will create anything for a dollar. They are trying to fix what’s not broken so to speak.
One lives on an unbearably hot planet, while the other lives on a planet with the perfect temperature. Mitch’s planet—warmed by 〖CO〗_2 and other forms of pollution— is insufferable to be outside even for a minute. On the other end of the spectrum, Michelle lives on a planet where 〖CO〗_2 emissions were never an issue, and being outside is pleasurable for people. Currently, there is a lot of debate over the topic of climate change, and many people have different viewpoints on it. Although some scientists argue people should believe that 〖CO〗_2 emissions derive from humans and that they are a direct contributor to a changing climate, other scientists prove what we should all know and believe; humans have nothing to do with rising temperatures, and climate change has weak evidence to back up its
