People excrete wastes and litter that flow into water systems, and animal habitats, this is slowly polluting water and killing wildlife. And the more the population grows the more wasted were going to produce and cause pollution and damage to the environment. More housing and buildings being built means that were building over were habitats live, the loss of these forests leads to extinction of plants and animals. Also more people means that more goods (like clothes, TVs etc) are wanted, more jobs are needed so more factories are being built witch is affecting out air pollution, which eventually is destroying out atmosphere. Also more food is required so more intensive farming methods are used.
By 1350 there were some quite serious public health problems in towns, where the lack of fresh water and drainage was a problem which caused the water to be contaminated by other sources and was not healthy to drink. The government were not willing to donate funds to fixing this problem because they did not think it was their job to improve public health, but sometimes they passed laws requiring people to keep the streets clean especially in times when disease was common however these laws were difficult to enforce. Therefore, the Romans’ progress was not maintained. Meanwhile, animal excrement was common in the street and butchers slaughtered their animals and threw the remains on the streets which lead to disease and germs causing people to get sick. All this suggests that during the middle ages there was no progress in public health and that the standard of public health had gone backwards especially in the towns and cities.
China, and as people tend to get more disposable income, in terms of food they will tend to consume more meat. This means a lot more wheat and grain is demanded in order to feed these animals, this causes the demand curve to shift to the right causing prices to rise. Another reason for an increase in the prices of grain and wheat is a rising demand for bio-fuels of which grain and corn are vital components. This combined with the current fuel climate and oil prices result in a lot of demand for bio-fuels which is why 20% of American grown corn goes on bio-fuels.
The building of the Supercenter would also hurt the environment, by taking away multiple acres of farmland to build on. These industrial activities have raised atmospheric gases such as carbon dioxide which contribute to greenhouse gases. The extra amount of these gases mean there is a thicker layer, meaning the gases absorb outgoing long-wave radiation which traps in too much heat. Increasing amounts of CO₂, methane, nitrous oxide, water vapour and ozone all contribute to this. The main cause in this rise is the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, natural gas and petrol. Since the industrial revolution the levels of atmospheric CO₂ have increased from 280 parts per million to 380ppm for the past 10,000.
When cattle or any type of livestock overgraze it causes them to compact the soil which makes it harder for soils to receive water or be aerated, and it also doesn’t allow for the plants roots to expand. This all affects the soil because it will eventually end up causing soil erosion which will lead to even more erosion. The effects that overgrazing have on soil are so bad because it disrupts the whole balance of the certain type of ecosystem that you are in. By having all these effects on the plants and soil around the ecosystem it doesn’t allow nature to return that ecosystem back to its original state and eventually will cause it to make everything worse. Now there are ways that people have been able to have grazing livestock without destroying the environment.

As a result of gas station paying more for their gasoline, this will increase the amount the customer will have to pay for gasoline.
This is significant, because if one species of animals departs, it causes the food cycle to be rearranged endangering the lives of multiple living organisms. They provide one of Canada’s largest negative impacts on the environment, releasing poisonous carbon dioxide emissions which are getting out of control. If these greenhouse gas emissions are not reduced it can result in the melting of polar ice caps in the Arctic. These oil sands are not only poising the air which we inhale, but also numerous waterways, food supplies, and if this process continues, possibly endangering the extinction of species. Green House Gas emissions are relatively caused by exponential increases in carbon molecules within the Earth’s atmosphere.
