Dear Mr. Gibson: Fahrenheit 451 is a well known book that most high school teachers have their students read. From my experience as a sophomore in Seoul American High, my fellow classmates and I had trouble reading the book. There were complaints they didn’t get it, the book was interesting then became boring, or they just weren’t into it. So, as of you being the director of this movie, I would like you to use some of opinions for Fahrenheit 451, as you may. The original version of Fahrenheit 451 was worse than I thought it would be. There were so many differences. The characters that played were, to me, not like the characters in the book. This movie is suppose to be “the near future,” and from watching the movie, none of the scenes seemed like the “future.” I was expecting for the movie to flow along with the characters in the book, and for the future to be the future. In the book I think there were a lot of strengths more weaknesses. The book gives good enough details where you can imagine what is going on, and to have your picture set on what’s happening. I would like a lot more students to be interested in this book and movie. As of the author writing this book in the 1950’s, the future explained in this book was based on our society now. Now we have the big screen televisions, and internet. Now I don’t think there’s as much readers as there is because of the sources that we have now. I would like this movie, to be just how the book was. An actual young Clarisse, the real Mildred etc. From my personal opinion, the movie just needs to be more realistic and better actors. This book is just so real on how books aren’t being used as much and how the time changes. People all have their own opinions, but its you as the director to decide what changes will be
