In the Enuma Elish, Ea “created mankind from his [Quingu] blood, imposed the toil of the gods (on man) and released the gods from it.” Due to that, Year after year at the New Year Festival the Mesopotamian people recited and performed The Babylonian Creation. This signifies that Ea became an intricate vital part in the culture of the Mesopotamians. By creating humans, Ea demonstrated the close relationship formed with humans. The Atrahasis , very similar to the Enuma Elish, portrays the role of Enki, otherwise known as Ea, and its involvement in the creation of man and how the toil of gods were imposed over them. Although both myths note the importance of Ea and its involvement in human creation, it is more evident in the Atrahasis.
The fact that not all thanes could be as courageous and have so many heroic achievements for their countries and rulers is why Beowulf seems so ideal and extraordinary. Beowulf's many achievements told throughout the story gives him the appearance of the most faithful of thanes, who has climbed the social ladder not because he has meant to do so, but because he wishes to protect his country and others and give all the credit to its rulers. This sort of behavior gives him a kind and generous nature that can be traced to a kind of chivalry. Chivalry can also be considered a very important role in the creation of a thane's reputation and popularity. Through Beowulf's chivalry, generosity, friendship, and popularity, all of his kingdom and of others knew him for his heroism and loyalty.
According to Hrafnkel’s saga, “he had a large temple built and held great sacrifices to the gods. He loved Frey above all the other gods and gave him a half share of his best treasures” (36). This shows how devoted he is to his religion and faith.

With his determination Justinian was able to keep the Roman heritage and the Roman culture going for another thousand years. Justinian was a good ruler but had some defects in the way he ruled. The Hagia Sophia was a place people could go to honor and serve god.

Posters were made and published everywhere, with biased messages designed to persuade people to do things that helped the war effort. Some of the posters would mock the men who weren’t fighting at war (you’re proud of your pals in the army of course! But what will your pals think of you? Think it over!) , some would tell people to save food and help the war (do with less, so they’ll have enough; save a loaf a week, help win the war), some would persuade women to go and work whilst their men fought, some used patriotism to lure people into the army (follow me, your country needs you; BRITONS you join your country’s army!
In moments where a decision had to be made quickly, a leader was generally appointed. As the region and its people expanded, the need for a leader also increased. Hammurabi aimed to win the friendship of all the societies in Mesopotamia. He did so by repairing their walls and temples and building canals that produced great harvests throughout all the land. This region became one of the most fertile lands in all of Babylon.
King Louis XIV identified himself with Apollo, the Greek God of the sun. Because of this, he also became known as the Sun God. This shows that he is not only seeking complete political control, but he wants the people of his county to believe that he is better then them. Louis XIV believed that he himself was chosen by God to be an absolute ruler. Louis himself was a strong believer
