Overview and Objectives Within a biological context, the Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines strategy as “An adaptation or complex of adaptations (as of behavior, metabolism, or structure) that serves or appears to serve an important function in achieving evolutionary success.” This definition captures the basic approach to strategy we will take in this class.
