Diary of Afram (An African Slave) September 8th 1665 Dear Diary, Today was the most hideous day of my life! I woke up for a bright new day I put on some clean clothes and walked out of my room to go to get some food. After eating my breakfast, I went to play in the village ground. By this time the village kinsmen and women when to the fields to harvest for food so that our tribe wouldn’t dies of hunger. All of a sudden I spotted a man and a woman climb over the walls.
