Daisy, Tom, Jordan, Gatsby, and even Myrtle show that the want for money and fame is far more important than love and other people. Money in the end overtook the power of love in The Great Gatsby. Chillingsworth is bent solely on Dimmesdale and seeking revenge against the man who took his wife. The fact that even Hester argues for Dimmesdale’s life through all he made her go through alone makes the reader have the highest respect for Hester because of her

Her want for wealth and happiness causes her to carelessly forget troublesome problems. She always does her best to live richly and happily no matter what sacrifice it may take to acquire
Then once you purchase your object of choice and you take it home you can't help but admire it. It's a beautiful feeling, right? Pampering yourself is a prominent, undeniably important step in self appreciation, but remember to look good for yourself, not for others. We will always be criticized, but those who hate are irrelevant. We only have one life, so why spend it hating it?
