I greatly appreciate the opportunity to observe what a great class you have and what an amazing teacher you are. While observing your class on Friday morning I noticed a few things. First of all I noticed what a wonderful, caring, and extremely friendly personality you have towards your young students. You seem to love your job very much because of your demeanor during class.
Background Observation of the existing technology made over the last five years. In my first year at FHS, there were three computer labs that were used by seniors and juniors. During the next four years, four more computer labs were added, one of which was used for a ninth grade business class. This year the technology coordinator for FHS is in the process of setting up two ninth grade computer labs, one for English and one for math. With the news labs the ninth graders should finally be able to have technology integrated into their daily
The school holds what they call The Multiple Intelligences Festival, this festival has been held every year for the last four years. Jan Cox, the school principal, states that “We bring in a lot of different people with a lot of different talents so the children can experience that,”They begin to understand that they have different talents and they see adults with different talents and it broadens their idea of what they can do when they grow up.” (Castillo, 2008) In the hallways and classrooms of the school are hands on exhibits where the students experience the talents hands on. One exhibit that attracted a lot of the students was with Sgt. Gary Smith of the New Mexico State Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit. The students were paired up and use black powder to lift finger
In 2002, more than 45,000 Allstate employees completed courses on the Allstate Learning Resources Network. ("Allstate and learn.net take training to a new level," 2003). This course had provided me with the opportunity to teach this program effectively to students within five weeks. Yes we learn through experience, but the majority of what we learn comes through reading. Developing a passion, for reading will lead to a successful educational experience. Even though to
Reflective Paper Juanita Ashley Ramsey MAT 213 July 23, 205 David Beames Reflective Paper MAT 213 Mathematics for Elementary Educators 1 has taught me so much in 5 weeks that will help me in the future. MAT 213 was so full of great and valuable information that will help me become a great math teacher. This course has addressed several major mathematical concepts and through the My Math Lab Mastery Points and Formative Assessments I have mastered many topics from problem solving, numeration systems and sets, whole numbers and their operations, number theory, integers, rational numbers and proportional reasoning, decimals: rational numbers and percent, real numbers and algebraic thinking. I came in this class thinking it was going to be really easy and I was wrong. This has been one of the hardest most challenging math classes I have ever taken.

I enjoyed the 5 years that I was employed at Toddler Tech. But I can honestly say that I’m not too crazy about my present job at FedEx. There are many reasons why I like my job at Toddler tech then my job now at FedEx. First being the Interactions with my clients. Working as a building director/front desk at Toddler Tech, I had physical contact with the kids and their parents.
In the fall of 2010 I left BRCC with a degree in Liberal Arts and certificate in general studies. I am in my third semester at Southern and I am enjoying every minute and I could not be more proud of this institution despite what’s been said or what’s going on. After I receive my bachelors’ degree in Psychology and get certified in Health & Physical Education & Adapted Physical Education, I plan on getting my masters in Supervision and Administration. I chose teacher education program at Southern because of the quality teachers that have came through the SUBR teacher education program. I currently work with children with disability in the Zachary Community School System and love every minute because you get an opportunity to reach out to children who never really had chance and to be able to give them a chance is very rewarding.

During our class and through our journals, I learned that child protection services
