I think the words play to a part of us as kids and adults that we hope to find our own “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. The words are not the only element of emotion as the music in the background sneaking its way into our ears not even registering while we watch her beautiful face but telling us how to feel. This influential music is played by a full orchestra and composed by Harold Arlen played by the MGM orchestra. Isael "IZ" Kamakawiwoʻole is a performer from Hawaii that lived and died there. He speaks to an unseen “light-winged Dryad of the trees,” a nightingale, of feeling a “drowsy numbness” from sharing in the nightingales happiness because it is singing of summer while sitting hidden in a plot of trees and shadows. Continuing, in the second stanza, we hear the speaker speak of wanting alcohol, a “drop of vintage,” to allow him to fade away with the nightingale. Using alcohol as a way of escape, the speaker does not write as a drunk, but rather as someone who has been enlightened and is seeking joy by way of a “beaker full of the warm South.” In the song of the nightingale, the speaker hears a foreign joy, one created by beauty, which he wants to get into. He wants to “ Fade far away, dissolve and quite forget What thou among the leaves has never known.” (lines 21-22) To escape the worldly troubles the human life has, that are absent from the life of the nightingale he so wishes to follow. It begins with a great melody that then brings forth Pink, and her partner’s sensational vocals that are both admirable. This song has a dramatic, and romantic feel to it. So this song can already be interrupted as a 21st century “love song.” As an artist Pink expresses her art by dramatizing the concept of this poem by featuring Carey Hart, Pink’s real-life husband. Thus being said, this story can bring forth a lot of different emotions that can be relatable to just about anyone.

Thus Billy Ocean song “Caribbean Queen” is an inspirational song because it shows the opportunity of sharing, it shows the loveliness to reside romantics and it show the glory to point a goal. The girl in the song is arguably very beautiful. The first reason behind this argument is the fact that she is called a queen in the title.
Just like the pianist who recognises different tones and notes when played in harmony produces a beautiful music. The movie itself on its last scene where men and women rowed the great “waka” together in unison and in one direction, they are able to take on the vast oceans...as in their life’s struggle and challenges. Gender played a pivotal role to shape the movie’s perspective in how traditions and customs can make or break a community’s spirit. Old Traditions and Customs can only be relevant if it serves the community’s present needs. It can influence progress but it can also influence backwardness.
