There is an amusement park owned by Dolly Parton called Dollywood. Also, up in the mountains there is a large building with an indoor skating rink that had more rides and alpine sledding. Alpine sledding is a wonderful activity for families, and you'll enjoy the feeling of wind rushing past you as you speed down the mountain! Even though there are lots of tourist-centered things, a vacation to Tennessee is completely worth it. So bring your family and enjoy your vacation!
Annie Dillard’s, “Stunt Pilot,” is a compelling story of her personal adventure through the air with renowned stunt pilot, Dave Rahm. Dillard takes one through the scenic journey she evoked on that day at the air show in Washington. Later, Dillard is granted the opportunity of a lifetime when she embarks on a flight with Rahm to explore the natural wonders of the mountains. Through her use of description, Dillard is able to successfully compare the craft of stunt pilots to the arts while effectively appealing to the readers emotion at the same time. First, Dillard recollects the moment she became entranced with David Rahm’s performance at the air show.

We still had time for fun such as sleigh rides down the road in front of our house, skiing in one of the fields that had a steep slope (these skis were hand made by Dads cousin Augie (August Johnson) or Ice skating on one of the three fishing pons we had. Our skates were the kind that clamped onto your shoes. No fancy shoe skates like you have now. As we skated the clamps would loosen and you would have to stop and tighten them. There was also a strap that went around your ankle that kept them from falling completely off.
Cause and Effects I chose to attend Penn State University over the other colleges that I applied to because Penn State is a well known school. Penn State is known for their academics all over the United States and even in other parts of the world. Even when I was telling my friends that live in California that I had been accepted to Penn State they knew exactly what school I was talking about. Penn State also has emotional ties to my family. My grandfather always loved Penn State football, and would always talk about Penn State University to me when I was younger.
There was nothing more memorable than that to both of them. It was their annual deer hunting trip, up in the Rocky Mountains. It was a cold, but otherwise nice hike up to a lake that they would camp at. The two set up right along the water’s edge; a beautiful location to say the least. A small fire was built as they fished and told stories.
