The law to illegalize abortion will have an exception to certain cases. Abortion should not be first choice when being pregnant. There are other options and other ways then killing a baby. Pro-life has valid arguments while pro-choice will counter their arguments and via-versa in a never-ending cycle. There is no true one side, in pro-life there are situations that might arise that abortion is the only option while pro-choice does not need to allow repeat offenders of abortion to keep aborting the babies.
I do not condone the actions of some pro-life activists in killing the doctors that perform these operations, but I agree that this should not be happening. If a woman carried a baby for nine months I can’t comprehend why that baby needs to be killed when it is born. It could just as easily be put up for adoption and the mother would be getting the same amount of responsibility. To me there is not much of a difference in killed a newborn baby than killing any other person. I believe it is right that infanticide is illegal because as soon as the baby is born it is a living, breathing human being.
Abortion An abortion is ending a pregnancy before the unborn child is able to live outside of his/her mother. If a woman was to have an abortion before reaching twenty-four weeks is considered a miscarriage; if the woman is beyond the twenty-four weeks then she is having an abortion to deliberately end her pregnancy. Women tend to get abortions due to lack of protection, not ready to be responsible for another human being or unfortunately the woman was raped and doesn’t want to have the rapiers child. Some who believe in abortion use it as a way of birth control and the others who don’t believe in abortion find it as murdering an unborn child. It gives you the many examples of why abortion would seem as a benificial choice. While showing some flaws in believing in some texts from the bible without studying it first. One example it brings up is how it would not be considered murder of a child, if the child was still not fully developed, is accidentally aborted without killing the mother in the process (as stated is some bible pretexts). Wade in 1973, Democrats actually polled as being less supportive of abortion rights than the Republican Party. However, since party views shift over time they now oppose pro choice. According Kathryn Jean Lopez, Sarah Palin talked about “empowering women.” In her worldview, that means making sure women who are pregnant in “less-than-ideal circumstances” know that they have options, such as adoption. Her decision to have an abortion is a difficult and personal one to make. Like many Americans, Samantha has never agreed with the practice of abortion. However, after much deliberation, Samantha has come to the conclusion to have an abortion; it would only make life more difficult if the baby was to be born. Revoking a woman’s right to have an abortion would be unconstitutional because this right is protected under the ninth and fourteenth amendments. The ninth amendment enforces implied rights, which are rights not directly stated in the Constitution, but can be interpreted as such.
There are many cases in which people can argue that a woman became pregnant due to rape and whether or not abortion should be legal. If a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, she does not need to keep the child, but carry through with the pregnancy and put the child up for adoption. There are families that are unable to have children. Those that are able to have children, but not have ways and means to love and nurture the child should make it available for the child to have a home with parents that want a child. Although the options are not endless, there are many things that can be done.
When the time came for them to actually want to give birth, if they had gone through an abortion in the past, it could have damaged their reproductive organs. Many women run the risk of dieing while giving birth because of previous abortions. There is no reason why any woman or couple should have to experience this. Although our court systems have tried to the best of their ability to deal with this issue of life and death, in the end, we all have come to the conclusion that the final decision of life or death of an unborn child rests in the mother’s hands. Despite the fact that we as humans claim to be followers of God, we continue to allow this to happen.
