Web. 12 Apr. 2012 Many people do not want to hear the word abortion, but when it comes to rape victims that get pregnant, it is often brought up. Even pro-life advocates agree that an innocent child shouldn’t perish for the sins of their father (1). Harvard students give their opinions and come to the conclusion that no rape victim shall be frowned upon when deciding to get an abortion. “Abortion is not some magical surgery which turns back time to make a woman ‘un-pregnant’ – or, for the matter, ‘un-raped’” (1). Reviewing this article helped me understand when abortion should be an option. No women should have to give birth to a child from the man that sexually abused her. In the book, pro-life and pro-choice opinions are heard and help predict the future with abortion. The opinions did not change my views on abortion but informed me of what it might do in the future. The newspaper article is about a bill that will imprison anyone who kills a fetus that has a heartbeat. Reading this article made me wish the outcome was different. I would have liked to see this bill passed. The magazine article is about a pill that takes the job of an abortion clinic and is becoming really popular in Mexico today. Reviewing this article did not change my mind on abortion. Abortion is still an abortion even if it is done quietly by a pill. Overall, I still choose pro-life over pro-choice after reading these articles. I believe a fetus should have the same rights as anyone else and should have the chance to experience life itself. These articles gave me a better understanding on how abortion is today and how it will be in the future. [Summary
