On the twelfth day of November 1934, Kathleen Maddox, a 16 year old hooker, gave birth to an illegitimate son. The infant was born “no name Maddox”. Two years later, Kathleen filed a paternity suit against a man from Kentucky, who went by the name “Colonel Scott”. Kathleen won a total of five dollars per month to provide support for “Charles Milles Manson”. Before he died in 1954, without even acknowledging his son, Scott defaulted on the judgment.
Danae, the royal virgin princess was the mother of Perseus after Zeus had visited the virgin by disguising as a shower of gold. Another hero would be Heracles, he was birthed in similar circumstances to Perseus, and was taken away to a foster family far away. This was another element to a hero narrative. There is little explanation about Heracles, however he fights the beasts and claims a kingdom, another important factor to a narrative. Orestes and Brasidas, were birth in different circumstances compared to Perseus and Heracles.

When Ponyboy asks Johnny to run away with him he doesn’t hesitate. At the fountain, there was no way he’d sit back and let the soc’s drown Ponyboy. It was Johnny’s loyalty that empowered him to kill Bob Sheldon. Throughout the novel Johnny stays loyal to Ponyboy and does as much as he can to protect him, whether is be cutting and dying Ponyboy’s hair, saving him from a burning church or almost turning himself in to the cops for his crimes in order to protect the greasers. Johnny would do anything to protect his friends.
In the practice of Male Continence, "a couple would engage in sexual congress without the man ever ejaculating, either during intercourse or after withdrawal." Noyes justified this practice because his wife Harriet in the first six years of their marriage had five difficult childbirths, four of which were premature and resulted in the deaths of the children. Noyes came to the conclusion that where an unwanted pregnancy occurred, there was a waste of the man's seed and that it was no different in practice to masturbation. With the implementation of Male Continence, which lasted from 1848 to 1868, some forty children were born in the community of about two hundred and fifty
Ever wondered why animals can’t talk but humans can? Well it all started back 500 Million years ago when everything was calm and the world was in formation, there was a King by the name Zaio Herzich. Zaio was appointed King after his father Uranus and his mother Gaea passed away, he was young but wise and did everything he could to develop our world. Being the only God, Zaio had brought out women (Eua) from his own mouth so that he wouldn’t be lonely and he would have someone to appoint him in case of his death, also Zaio needed someone or something to do work and to serve him so he created Animals which were dogs and cats. These servants could talk and had human like characteristics they could talk, stand, etc.
He is a loving husband, a hard working farmer, a proud father, and most important a faithful Christian. He is a stand-up guy who spoke his mind. Around town, his name was always mentioned with honor and integrity. He took pleasure in exposing hypocrisy and was respected for it. He never once censored what came out of his mouth, and always left the truth exposed even it meant hurting people around him.
He was looked upon as a hero even by Atticus and Mr. Tate. Boo Radley is very courageous for saving the children’s lives’. But that is not all he has done, Boo Radley stands up against danger on behalf of what society thinks of him. Like how he shows his face to the others when he returns Scout home since he saved her. He didn’t care what they thought of him because he knew already that almost everyone in Maycomb spreads terrible rumors about him so he was fearless.
The Courage of a Man Is being courageous really worth risking said physical well being or social outlook? Really courageous people risk everything for others. In Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird, Atticus Finch takes that risk. He takes the Tom Robinson case when he knows that they will lose, and does everything in his power to prove his innocence. Bob Ewell spitting in Atticus’ face does not faze or provoke him into lowering himself to Bob’s level.
He stood by Johnny's side even after he murdered the “Soc,” Bob, supporting him because he knew that Johnny needed someone to stay with him and help him get through this difficult time. “I'm sure. It ain't fair for Ponyboy to have to stay up in that church with Darry and Soda worryin' about him all the time.” (p.87). Ponyboy along with Dallas and Johnny saved the children from the burning church. He knew, as did Johnny that they were the ones who accidentally set the church in flames, so saving the children’s lives no matter the outcome of his own was the least he could do.
