However, when this feeling turns into unreasonable fear and dislike of foreigners or strangers, it is referred to as xenophobia. The concept is typically used to describe fear or dislike of foreigners or in general of people different from one's self. The word is also used to define an intense dislike or fear of foreigners or strangers. Xenophobia can also be seen as negative attitude towards individuals or groups that are in some sense different from oneself or the group which one belongs (Shindondola, 2003). 2.
