Appendix D Part I Ethnic group is a group of people who identify with one another. Anti-Semitism is the hostility toward or discrimination against Jews, as a religious ethnic or racial group. Islamophobia is the hatred or fear of Muslims or their politics or culture. Xenophobia is the fear of foreigners or in other words the intense fear or dislike of foreign people. Persecution is the subjecting of a race or group of people to cruel or unfair treatment. Religious group is a set of individuals whose identity as such is distinctive in terms of common religious creed, belief, doctrines practices or rituals. Part II The religious group that I selected is Roman Catholic and the Racial/ethnic group that I selected is Asian (Asian descent). I have no affiliation with either of these. Some specific examples of prejudice would be when Princess Diana was killed in the car accident because she was being followed by paparazzi. I think that the world judged her because of the situation and expected certain things from here because she was a princess. We are all human and make mistakes. Even the higher ones do. It is natural for people to make them and if people take that with the grain assault than the hell with them. I think that everyone deserves a second chance and we should not be judged because of that. Religion is something that I don’t think will make or break you but you have to have faith and know right from wrong. I really feel strongly on this question because I have been in situations where I have been judged because of my schooling and background. I don’t feel that it is fair to do that to
