Why college education is important to me “The educated differ from the uneducated as much as the living differ from the dead”-Aristotle. These words mean so much to me; education is one of the most important things in the life of people. There is a whole world of opportunities for the prepared and just a little for the person without education, at this time and ever, it is essential to succeed in life. Furthering your education can unlock doors. I decided to take college education because I know it is good for me, for my life and future. I have so many plans and dreams I would like to accomplish, professionally and personally and the very first step I have to take is my college education. Without a good education, the number of jobs I can get is very limited, and don’t present a lot of chances for me to succeed. I would like to have the opportunity to work in something I really like, because this way, my work will not be a heavy burden. People that enjoy doing what they like are happier; as I can see education is a precious gift. I wish to give myself the gift of education. When we are kids, perhaps, we do not possess the conscience to choose what is good for us, but as adults we decide the land to walk. Now, that I am an adult, the voice of reason shows me the better options I have. Nelson Mandela said: “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world,” and I am going to start by changing my own inner world into a world full of wisdom. Then, the opportunities I wish will come to me because education leads to a richest living. Besides the importance of education, I have always admired that cultivated persons that know and can talk about everything in life. It is fascinating hear them talking about the Solar System, the history of countries, the animals, the oceans, the universe…Sometimes, they seem to me as magic people. I
