Community colleges today, offer a wide range of subjects to begin the journey towards a well rounded education. Not only are they affordable, I found that by attending my local community college I was able to live off campus, which proved to be a blessing as I was able to continue to look after aunt Lilly, work part time at a local business and work towards an .associate degree in business management., My: local community college offered a variety of options to assist in securing the funding I needed to complete a two-year course and offered many services that would assist in making my educational goals reachable, most importantly, the option to transfer the grades I earn over to a 4 year university. Often, transportation is a crucial factor when determining to attend a particular college. Fortunately many local community colleges are located on major bus routes. In addition to public transportation, many are situated so that you can get too your campus by bike, now that's a saving.
I try to plan lunch dates with my friends at least every couple of weeks. I also visit social networks to chat with friends and keep up with what is going on in their lives. I get encouragement from them when needed and this is very helpful when I am feeling down. My fiancé and I also set aside at least 1 or 2 nights a month to have quality time and this is very helpful for our relationship. Intellectual health: Reading is one of my favorite pass times.
Things have really been looking up for me in many different ways; I was offered a part time job at the school itself as a student-employee. Feelings My first week back at school has been arduous, but very good and cultivating. I was very eager to begin school and my new job and also to meet my classmates once more. It was somewhat disappointing for me when school did not reopen as scheduled. Sociology is an intriguing subject; learning how people interact in a group opposed to when they are by themselves really opened my eyes to the reality of daily living.
Finding a job is very difficult to come by. It’s so prevalent to have more than a high school diploma. Many years ago a high school diploma was enough to obtain a job making decent money, but now it’s an absolute must to have a college degree and training. I want to be able to provide a comfortable life style for my family. Having a nice home, frequent vacations and financial freedom is a wonderful persuasion for obtaining my degree.
I do not necessarily think it will make me healthier, although those things are part of a healthier mind. I have a wonderful marriage, family, and I think good genes and I have not graduated or been to college in over three years. They are a great support system and my life would be long and healthy, especially happy without college, it is just something personally I have always wanted to have a degree and a job where if I needed to I could support myself and
I agree with Arnett that young adults’ long road to adulthood is healthy and positive because it provides them the opportunity to pursue their career, provides them the opportunity to take control of their finances, and it strengthens the family bond. One reason why I agree that young adults’ long road to adulthood is healthy and positive is because I believe it provides them the opportunity to pursue their career. For example, Jeremy Lermitte, who was featured in the documentary, had lived on his own when he was in college, however, after graduation he was not able to figure out what he wanted to do with his life. Therefore, he wanted to take some time to figure it out, so he decided to move back home and he is currently studying to become a financial analyst. In addition, Patrick Lermitte, Jeremy’s older brother, also still lives at home in order to take control of his career.

“Why College Education is Important to Me” Why college education is important to me?’ I strongly believe that having a college education will allow me to reach dreams and set goals that I would never had been able to reach otherwise. It will allow me to provide a better life for my family (specifically my husband & kids) and because it is the foundation of life. We have gone without what many others have taken for granted. Purchasing a house, yearly vacations, small camping trips are all just a dream to my family. My aspiration is to not only make myself proud, but to also be an example to my kids and to other woman like me like these women inspire me and became role models to me!
Even though Bill Gates found his american dream without a college degree, that doesn’t mean that having a college degree raises the chances of acquiring the american dream. A college degree makes getting a well paying job easier because it’s considered as evidence of someone’s capabilities to handle a job. Even if someone else is more capable it falls down to whether they can prove it. Bill Gates didn’t accomplish his goal alone. He had help from a college professor and there was no competition in the field he was entering, he was the first.
