In A Separate Peace by John Knowles there were many things I liked. I really liked the character of Gene, the setting, the diction, and the storyline. I really liked Gene. Even though, he wasn’t the most spectacular character, he was my favorite. His personality was just really entertaining.
John Steinbeck made the plot interesting and the themes behind the work were truly brilliant. The book had its points were they were very descriptive but didn’t keep me interested enough. Reading through those boring parts is completely worth it though. Steinbeck makes the book easy to understand and i like that quality a lot about this book. In my opinion, I got the idea that this book was written more for the workings of the mind but at the same time Steinbeck wanted to make you feel something as you read this.
He offered a lot of help and was willing to make notes on my paper to attempt at helping me make my paper the best it could possibly be. I really appreciate his time and effort and definitely took in to account some of the great and helpful feedback he gave me. Another person I would also like to shortly thank is Professor Miller. She took the time out of her busy schedule to sit down and have a conference with me and go over any questions. It made it easier to figure out exactly what she was looking for in my paper.
How school systems always get them I trouble for showing their masculinity. They in other words feminize them to become nicer people and not to show their rowdy and dangerous side. This leads men to become very bored and makes it harder for them to seek the adventure they long so much for. I really liked the book and he bakes up what he says with various scripture references to passages in the Bible. This is good and helps me understand what he is trying to tell me.
Anthony Socci 3 White 11/28/08 Biography: Final Draft Da’dooch Socci “A day without laughter is a day wasted” This was John Michael Socci’s favorite philosophy that he lived by on an everyday basis. My interview with his sister Jenifer Socci, was a great privilege for myself. She is very wise, a remarkable memory and the smartest woman I know. This interview turned out to be more informative than I could’ve hoped for. Da’dooch was always fond of telling stories or explaining those who have passed.

Reading novels or just merely inheriting information through blogs and websites are ok but when you touch basis with people on a personal face to face basis the connection you receive and the closeness to truth is exhilarating and grabs you more. I’m pretty sure that if I interviewed different individual people my answer and definition for happiness would
When he talks to Holly its, “Good morning sunshine” and with Chris he acts cool, “Hey how’s it going man.” It helps him to build better friendships with his us which are pretty much his second family. He really cares about us as people and he shows it by telling us how we can use what we learn in the real world. “Josh when am I ever going to use getting references outside of vector?” “Well you know when you want to get a girls number you’ll know how to ask for it in the right way to where you get it.” We laugh about it and a lot of things that go on around the office. He always makes it fun for us by setting up games and competitions. One game we do is to set up demos and we have two captains and they pick people to be on their team.
Every serious story led to another joke that kept begging me to keep reading. He was very straight forward with the things he said and thought, and made comparing his stories to everyday life scenarios a lot easier and helped me to learn to laugh. I really enjoyed my time reading Me Talk Pretty One Day. I’ve never laughed so much and haven’t wanted to put a book down. This is definitely a book that I would recommend.
These were the little statements such as “Sorry weirdos-I love you, but she has a point.” or, “Sadly, I couldn’t get anyone to connect with me-for some reason, nobody wanted me to track their every movement?” These are small humorous additions to the story that without them the story is still great but with them it keeps the reader wanting to read more and even though small, they are a large help to Honan’s story and he does a nice job of adding them in places they fit and not just throwing them in randomly throughout his writing. In conclusion, Mathew Honan does a lot of things right when righting this story, He makes a few mistakes like including too much of his personal life and telling the world that his wife will be home alone for a week, but what he does right including making himself relevant in the beginning of the story, using his personal experiences Hale 4 effectively and making the reader want to read more, and I definitely believe that the things Honan does right in the story without a doubt trump the things he did not do right. No one can write a perfect story, there will always be small changes that could take place, but Mathew Honan did a wonderful job with his essay “I Am Here”. It was not only informational; it told a story and was even funny and quirky at times. He certainly wrote a story that kept the reader reading and I would say that is what is most
