Abstract Almost everyone has have an experience with bullying. Bullying is one of the most common human developing behaviors in school, community, and work place. There are different ways of bullying and types of effects. In this paper, we will go through Veronica’s case study. Our interest will be to help Veronica build her self-confidence and also help with her own self-esteem. This counselor expects that at the end of the treatment period, Veronica will be able to handle the group who bullied her, to put an end to this painful way of living, and enjoy life as a thirteen years old girl. There are ways to stop bullying, and some of the answers are in our own self-confidence and also in the community. Everyone needs to take an active contributing role to remediate this issue. Society needs all of us to stop bullying, even if we are not engaged or affected by it. If people do not stop those who bully, then we all end up playing an important part in bullying. Introduction Every day in our schools and communities children are teased, threatened, and tormented by bullies. Bullying has been identified as a problem that creates an environment of fear, and in Veronica’s case is impacting her entire school. Those who fail to recognize and stop bullying behavior as it occurs, actually promote violence. Bullying is a form of abuse, harassment and abuse are more accurate names for it. Parents and school workers should considerer bullying as a serious and harmful act to both the perpetrators and the victims, and are responsible for behavioral and emotional difficulties, long-term negative outcomes, and violence. Bullying is where a child or group of children keep taking advantage of the power they have to hurt or reject someone else.
