The Truman Show Analysis Cristof uses power over his creation to control and facilitate in his mind how a peaceful world would be. This would make anyone ponder over whether or not another human being has the right over another human. When we are created we have freedom of life, to do as we please without being controlled, so when we are deterred from this, it can be life-changing obstacle to get through and understand. Beyond ones’ own eye and human belief we all have a purpose to be here on earth, in which we might not know right away, but we might learn later in life. The Truman Show conditions peoples’ way of thinking, in that their living in their own reality, because it is a live show filming 24/7 a day. Everyone wants a sense of peace of mind in which they can feel relief for world conditions they face daily. Truman Burbank had a life just as the viewers who watched him, but to them Truman’s life was perfect being televised, in reality to their lives. When Truman first started grade school, his ambition was to one day be an explorer, though, he was told that would not be a practical occupation for him, ironically being an explorer was his very accomplishment at the end. What happens when we accept and let go? This can be a relief to us, fighting something for so long can be stressful. There was a lot of chaos for him when he was trying to leave the life he knew of already, this was a beneficiary factor for him in which, he would have a greater sense of inquisitiveness in him. Cristof allowed Truman to feel freedom ,but there would always be road blocks ahead to prevent him from leaving, Cristof stated, “it not fake, its controlled”, he felt that the life he created for Truman was where he belonged.
