Looking back at when I actually wrote this paper, I enjoyed it mostly because I truly love Justin. No matter what happens from now on, he and I will have always shared an amazing time together. Lawrence Dass English 12 A 9/11/12 Modern Day Hero To me, a modern day epic hero is some who had or has an incredibly positive effect on those around them, doing whatever they can to help loved ones and/or make the world a better place as much as possible in today’s society. There are many modern day heroes making a change or changes for the better; these good citizens come from all walks of life. From the talented and disabled to the most and less fortunate, they do what they can to help others. For me one of those very special people would be my mom, and here is why. My mom deserves to be called a modern day epic hero just as any other caring mother, or father, because they do whatever it is to care for their own no matter what.
