Cell phones today have become a vital part of our society. For example, we can use cell phones while driving, or speak to someone in another country. We can use them in the business world to conduct meetings or to rely vital information to co-workers or to conduct trade with other businesses.. This relatively recent growth of cell phones usage is a phenomenon that is universal and is not categorized by age, gender and etc. Cell phones now are more than just devices used to communicate verbally. They are essential parts of our business and personal lives. Cell phones are used to schedule appointments, fax, e-mail, call for assistance, report emergencies and keep in contact with loved ones and friends. Along with these formal uses cell phones are also used for multimedia and entertainment purposes pertaining to : capturing videos and photos, listening to music and playing video games. Cell phones as an effect become a social phenomenon that has affected not only everyone that owns a cell phone but also people around them in all parts of the world. Cell phones are used primarily as a device for communication. The first cell phone appeared around 30 years. The spread of cell phones has been rapid, in all demographics. Young children and even senior citizens are increasingly becoming familiar with cell phones. Cell phones were once a luxury for the upper class, but today they have gone from being just a want to an absolute necessity .The rapid increase of cell phones today, can be attributed to Socialization. According to William Sewell, “socialization is the process by which individuals selectively acquire skills, knowledge, attitudes, values and motives current in the groups of which they are or will become members.” This is simply words means that a person is likely to acquire a certain asset or attribute that will so that they can become members of certain
