Brad and Meredith had to attend a court the day after to work everything out and to sign paper work. Luke was so shocked at how things were going so fast! To make things a little better for Luke, him and his new wife Elizabeth built there dream home and moved in right away! They had to hire a wall/smith to do a little decorating around the house to make it look a little more presentable. To surprise Elizabeth Luke hired a chief for her and his anniversary; he was supposed to be the best in town!
In conclusion, to try to raise money for senior prom, Riley and I tried to sell cookie dough to Mr. Walters, Mr. Voltz, and Mrs. Kodrich. Although we didn’t meet our goal of selling ten tubs ok cookie dough, we at least helped our school a little bit. Next year we will definitely try to sell more of whatever the school is trying to sell. The important thing is we tried to raise money for the school. In the one hour long special that really touched my heart it shows how this overgrowing crisis is getting out of hand and how us as Americans need to lend a helping hand to stop this. By helping start more programs in my community and helping give students enough nutritious food to get them through weekends, hand-delivering meals to students’ homes during summer break, and providing services to their families and local food kitchens we would decrease a lot of this. The foster parents are the unsung heroes they are the main care provider for the children placed in care. The foster parents are required to put in many hours of classes in support for the children that are coming in their home well before they get their first placement. The foster parent virtually gives up their own freedoms to become foster parents they have to grant permission for DHS to dig in their own private lives they are finger printed and placed in the FBI data base foster parents must submit to monthly investigation to their home which could even include the social worker checking their refrigerator and cupboards for food. The foster parent is granted a monthly stipend for taking care of these children. The foster parent must have a criminal background check and are required to do a two and a half hour interview before their approved to be foster parents.
