After completion my goal is to continue onto my Master’s Degree here at Kaplan University. After completion of my Master’s Degree and the required hours of experience I am hoping to take the BCBA exam and become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. To be honest the only thing that will hold me back from pursuing a certification that requires a Master’s degree and continued education would be due to financial reasons. If faced with this setback then I would still like to obtain a BCABA after completing my current degree and the necessary hours of experience. I have also discussed volunteering options that do not require a degree at my son’s school.
By being independent individuals we don’t have to wait on other peoples support or permission to do certain things. We don’t have to go out of our way to please somebody else because we do as we want. When we are independent our confidence meter starts to rise up, it gives us that extra boost of motivation we desire to achieve new things. I believe that we are the creators of our own life, that we all have the same power to start and finish new goals but only a few have the actual strength and correct mind set to do it. Equality 7-2521 says that “the guiding star is within me” and that it points to just one direction, and that direction is “me”.

I value being an individual, and being responsible for your own actions. Being an individual is very important to me. I have never wanted to stand out in the crowd or be pointed out by anyone, but I have always wanted to be responsible for my own actions. Figuring things out on my own and learning at my own pace has always been a strong suit of mine. Doing things this way keeps me responsible for my known self.
My goals that I wish to accomplish are to graduate from College with a Counselor Master's degree, within the next 4yrs. Another goal I have set to accomplish is to be able to obtain a good paying job in my career that I have chosen, paying least $16 to $20 an hour.
