We deny the unborn child its right to live and experience the world. No one has thee right to take the life of another person, even an unborn child. Furthermore, abortion denies the mother the joy and opportunity to raise the baby, and in the long run, usually ends up hurting the mother as the emotional effects become worse and worse. This problem is even more common when there is pressure by others on the woman to have the abortion, and she does so reluctantly. Another reason why I do not believe abortions should be done is because of the many risks involved for the woman undergoing the abortion.
It is your right to believe in what you want, so is abortion good or bad? Abortion is the “termination of a pregnancy”. So for the anti abortionist this is considered slaughtering the baby. They believe that the fetus is actually a separate human life form. So if one has an abortion it is considered murder.
This debate will continue for centuries. The fact that a life has ended before it begins should be reason enough for it to be illegal. People should not have a choice whether a baby lives or dies. Abortion should be outlawed because it is murder, it can result in medical problems, and it takes away the responsibility of the parents. Abortion is murder no matter when a person believes life begins.
Women Right to Choose Who’s right is it to choose whether or not a child is aborted? It is the woman’s body, but the child is both the man and woman’s offspring. The issue of woman’s right is one thing that should be considered. In the event that the mother was raped, if she is (for example) a 10 yr. old child or if by having the baby it would put the mother’s life in danger, then there is something that needs to be done. Forcing a woman to carry the child of a rapist simply because one believes that abortion is wrong would be infringing in on the rights of the mother.
No civilized society permits one human to intentionally harm or take the life of another human without punishment, and abortion is no different. We see murder as an awful, hideous crime, but yet we stick up and protect abortion like its absolutely okay. When you chose to no longer carry that child, you are choosing to not only strip that child of a chance at life but also you are taking away God`s gift to that child, and how is that right, because you most certainly got to live? It is absolutely inhumane and wrong, because abortion can be considered murder, since the fetus has already began its journey toward birth and a life. Secondly, abortion can lead to severe medical and psychological issues down the road.
Abortions are immoral and should not be legalized. Abortions are a threat to the mother’s health. There are many complications of getting an abortion. The mother can suffer from an infection or internal bleeding can occur. The mother could also become permanently sterile and may never be able to bear a child.
No matter how a person views abortion its still homicide. A person can’t go out and kill another without getting convicted of homicide. Why can a mother kill her unborn baby? Now I’m not saying a woman that has no other option and feels it’s best to have an abortion is committing homicide. Like stated before, there are certain cases in which I agree abortion should be considered.
The main issue in this piece is violence against women and women’s rights referring to female infanticide and female genital mutilation also known as FGM. Female infanticide is defined as the act of killing an infant simply because it is a female or aborting the fetus because it is a female, and FGM is the circumcision of the female genital intended to inhibit a woman’s sexual feelings (WHO 2014.) Although these are two separate issues with different trajectories they still lead to a violation of human rights (Saad 2014). These two issues are important topics because they will help in understanding and addressing violence against women in developing countries. Female infanticide is most common in India where the people believe that females are much of a burden, and according to who FGM happens in about “28 countries in Africa and in a few countries in Asia and the Middle East” (WHO, 2014).
Abortions should be illegal. One reason abortions should be illegal is because a fetus can be considered as a person; Abortion is murder. Another reason abortions should be illegal is because most religions believe that it is morally wrong. Finally by having an abortion you are decreasing the population. Abortion is the removal of a fetus from the body of a pregnant woman which results in the death of the fetus.
But whatever the situation, there is never an acceptable reason to get an abortion. There are many reasons why a woman should not have an abortion. The reason I think that women should not choose to have an abortion is: it is called murder, it can cause medical complications later in life, and there’s no such thing as an unwanted child. First Abortion is called murder. Even if a mother is willing to accept the consequences, she is taking away a human life.
