Seniors vs Senioritis

Researchers describe senioritis as a “virus” that mainly distresses seniors during their second semester. As a result, seniors tend not to handle their school work well and their time as well. Students suffering from senioritis may experience symptoms such as: laziness, lack of studying, repetition of school absence and most often you will have a habit of drifting off ( daydreaming ) when class is in session. Yes, senioritis is a serious obstacle to graduating students; however, it can be cured. Seeing that senioritis is surely not a medical situation, it can certainly be cured by engagements that you yourself can do to help cure senioritis. Such arrangements involve: organizing your schedule properly, being attentive in class and being on time to present any school work and most importantly being present in class everyday as much as possible. In addition to this, here are some guidelines to get you started. First, keep a log book. Second, keep a review book. Third, read over your notes every day for every class that you attended that day. Fourth, participate in class. Fifth, create a personal schedule which will include subjects that you will study each and every day to enhance your information about it and lastly, after a long day of school, you must get a full eight hour sleep so that you will have a restful mind for the following day of school. By doing these, you will be able to ‘jungle-through’ senior year just fine. It is because of this senioritis that several seniors are having problems graduating high school properly. However, practicing such good habits will surely make anyone immune to senioritis. Never let senioritis rule over you.
