My students will develop a community that respects each other in the classroom as well as out of the classroom. Once these goals have been met I feel that the rest of the year will be smooth sailing! (Gallagher, 1999-2012). In the field of education, good classroom management is essential ( Froyer & Iverson, 1999) . Encouraging and establishing student self-control through a process of promoting positive student achievement and behavior is what every classroom needs.
I feel I can make a difference in someone’s life with my experience and drive. 2. At what level(s) do you want to coach/teach and why? I would like to coach at the junior high school level because this is the time when most children develop their brains and motor skills. At this point in their lives I believe the players would be more receptive of the training and understand why you work so hard in practice.
CASL Essay Assignment I would like to attend the CASL conference so that I can further my leadership journey. By going to CASL it will help me to grow in my abilities and qualities. When I grow, not only would I benefit myself as a better leader but our school would benefit also in their representation and leadership program. I would also like to attend CASL so that I can learn about service projects. I am very interested in starting a specific service project my junior year for CAS hours and this would be a great help to me with that.
Cooperating with others means being able to work with others. JROTC helps me learn to cooperate with my classmates. By doing JROTC activities in class with other cadet, I’m able to learn to sharing my ideas and working together to achieve common goal. Leadership is the ability to influence subordinates in order to accomplish a mission. I have learned in JROTC that as a leader if I show my subordinates the values that I have such as respect, loyalty, integrity, honor, duty, selfless service and personal courage, then they will respond in the similar fashion.
The school will be affected by my role because as a team we will plan events that all classes participate in and hopefully enjoy. 6. I was motivated to seek this position because I had experience being a part of SGA before. I enjoyed being a part of the team and now as a rising senior I would like to take on more responsibility because I know I can handle it. I’ve seen the work that goes into planning some of these events
It is a necessity for me to gain a good amount of experience as a mentor and counselor prior to opening my group. By working as a mentor and a counselor I will, over time, develop the qualities and experience needed to successfully impact and make a difference in a young man’s life. Opening a group home will be an amazing achievement of mines because I will get to help young men who need guidance and a role model. I was lucky to have the support and guidance that I had while growing up and I wanted to provide that same opportunity to the young men who are not as fortunate as I once was. In John Holland personality-type theory he feels as though there is a connection between personality and career satisfaction (Witt & Mossler, 2010).
I see this as a way to encourage open dialogue between students and administration. Circulation does convey a purpose to students as well as staff. I believe the principal must create that climate for learning with openness and development of trust. Through this reflective process I realize that the principal did do the majority of the paper work after the students had departed from school. This commitment models the expectations for the staff and proves that I, as a principal, must strive to create a school culture that has a positive influence on life and learning in my school.
Once I am in SWAG other students will realize this and might want to achieve like me and try to be in SWAG. While in SWAG I will let younger students know that it doesn't matter what age you are to become a leader. Also, I will become an elite member of SWAG. I have a great GPA and can really speak for the students to make this school better. I could take ideas and listen to the students.
As time went on I realized that I needed so much more. I know now that teachers are here to teach us and what we learn is valuable throughout life. My GPA is important to my future and so is my ACT’s. With this said, I hope that I end up in a great college and a great
