Statement of the Problem: The decision to help the restaurant managers address the problem in preventing the disease to spread within the workplace and to its customers. III. Objective/s: To maintain company product standards without compromising the family tradition establish by company founder John Andrews. To make the workplace safe without endangering the welfare of the employees and consumers. IV. Areas of consideration: 1. John Andrews has developed this family tradition towards his employees. 2. Jack Mathews on the other hand is the CEO of the company responsible for creating the operating plans and support strategic direction of the company and submit this plans to the board of directors of Amalgamated Foods for approval. Which is his job is to protect the interest of the company thus maintaining its credibility on the market and employee standards. V. Alternative Courses of Action: 1. Jack Mathews may suggest to the company Board of Directors (BOD) to disregard the family tradition developed by Jack Mathews to its employees and arranged a separation pay with the full medical care for its existing employees that are carriers of the infectious virus. Since it would greatly jeopardize the quality and safety of its products. And have all incoming employee to be fully check with all possible infections diseases. 2. Jack Mathews may suggest to the company BOD to have the employees infected with the virus retained and have them work on a different task not involving in handling the raw and exposed products of the company in the process of manufacturing.
