SAT2 Leadership Task 2C Evaluation of Team Performance The evaluation of Team Get It Done will summarize the team’s goals. Motivation strategies, Influencing strategies, communication plans, conflict resolution tactics and methods we could have used for improving the team process and function. The mentioned areas of concentration will be evaluated to determine how effective and efficient the Get It Done team performed in the development and execution of the Leadership Handbook presentation. We also used file sharing through Linked-in Dropbox, so everyone in Team Get It Done could receive the same information, and no group member would be misinformed. If there were an urgent or emergency situation, members would contact the team leader via phone who would relay any pertinent information to the group. For our conference call, we used Join.me for audio teleconferencing and status updates on the assignments. The keys to good effective communication involved the group (audience). The information required to comprehend (tasks and assignment clarification). The media were going to use for easy communication and timeframes that we were setting for each other and the team and the responsibilities the team had in communicating success and productive methods to complete the handbook. The audience or our team communicated what roles and two task each team member were to complete for the handbook. The information on each assignment was communicated and reiterated in e-mails showing handbook topics for each team member. The media types of communication we used the group, effectively communicated through Join.Me, Linked-In, and Dropbox sharing information and files we need to complete our assignments. The timeframes were set using with the course syllabus, and we communicated to ensure everyone stayed focused and on course to complete individual and team assignments. Constant communication through our media choices helped the team effectively communicate what each person’s responsibilities were, and we summarized our team responsibilities through several emails and our conference calls. We had a solid communication plan if anyone would miss the conference calls we would call or send that team member an update.
