I was given the opportunity to read up the policy and procedures of my placement agency and I was also given the induction pack file which contains documents on guidelines of Health and Safety policy, IT information guidelines and my practice portfolio. I shadowed my Link supervisor when we made a home visit to discuss one of one of her clients' completed Look After Child (LAC) report. 31st January 2013. Today I attended a Multi Agency Review Meeting with a social worker in my team. Before attending the meeting I read through the child’s case file containing the child’s historical and medical background.
Informational interview Alvin Bryant On June 17, 2011 at 1:00pm I interviewed Dorra McClaster , a substance abuse counselor for the Attic Correctional Service. The interview took place in her office at 303 W Court St, in Janesville, WI. The reason for this interview was for me to gather as much information in the substance abuse field as possible and the requirements needed for this type of position, and to expand my professional network, and possible employment leads. I didn’t have to wait long when I got there. She welcome me in with a smile, we shook hands and walk to her office.
During each seminar, the instructor will be asking students lots of questions from the reading assignments, so there will be many opportunities to answer and to make additional comments or ask questions of your own. Your attendance at the weekly seminar for this course is very important. The seminar is an excellent source of information and explanation of the weekly material in this course. However, if you are unable to attend the seminar, you can still learn the information that was provided and also earn the seminar points. In order to earn the seminar points, you must complete an alternative assignment and submit it as a Word document attached to an email.
Client Services will be responsible for developing the project plan, scheduling of desktop upgrades, creating desktop processes, and deployment of training schedules, and other communication efforts. Network Services will be responsible for creating the process to migrate user mailboxes from Exchange 2003 to 2010. Weekly progress reports will be submitted to the Deputy CIO identifying progress and future efforts. I also extensively network with other Health and Safety professionals. I also attend regular Barbour CPD webinars (EV13). These reliable sources of information and best practice are all used when considering advice, preparing or updating procedures and the management of risk in my workplace. 1.2 Once I have identified new developments or changes in legislative requirements or best practice, I have to compare them with the status quo to determine how they will affect our organisation and operations. This is generally well in advance of the change and allows time for discussion at the minuted monthly H&S Committee meeting (EV22) which is attended by a range of employees from the Managing Director to production operatives.

One thing that did grab my attention was the diversity of ages; there were older, middle aged and young adults. After the initial readings, all newcomers were asked to introduce themselves; at this point I became very anxious because I was just an observer and was not sure what to do. Anyhow I introduced myself as an observer and received a very warm welcome. The people in the meeting all appeared to be healthy and if I saw them in public would never think they were addicts. The speaker of the meeting, who I would say was about 20 years old, discussed when her addiction started and progressed to when she finally realized she was an addict.
Latarsha Ekoh 07/15/2012 Master Class Mss 100 Ms. London Journal 1 On August 9, 1999 my aunt was job hunting and I decided to ride with her. Aunt Lavonia is a Certified Nursing Assistant so we went and applied and applied many locations. The last place, we stop at was The Village Health Care Center. We went in and she filled out a job application and I decided fill out an application as well I completed it and gave it to the receptionist. And a few minutes later a gentleman came out and took us to back for an interview.
AA Meeting Nursing 126 I attended an AA meeting at Park 40. The group began by welcoming any new members as well as the group made me feel welcomed. The meeting then proceeded with the serenity prayer then followed by reading of the notes from previous meetings. I noticed that whenever anyone spoke they introduced themselves as an alcoholic, the group responded with acknowledgement. The leader of the group had other members read from the AA step 12 book, and then would have discussions about what was read.
I had previously made and appointment to meet one of my clients to get an update of his activities from our last meeting and to also to conduct an assessment of the intervention process relating to his general situation. As I was in the process of settling down, I was interrupted by another client of mine who had a disagreement with the result from his room inspection conducted on the previous Thursday. My placement site is a traditional housing facility for Veterans and room inspection is a routine procedure to ensure a comfortable and conducive living environment. Smoking within any of the buildings is
