well I will tell you in right here in this paragraph. A proper time for students to use there phones you would think would be at lunch or either during passing periods. During lunch we have forty five minutes of social time why not make that with cell phones as well. I know plenty of students probably do it anyways when we are not supposed to, and to be honest I am one of those as well. When we are eating no teachers are around us giving us more lessons.

I will correct the grammar in the first essay. For all subsequent essays, if there are more than three grammatical and/or style errors, and more than two errors in any given paragraph, the essay will be returned to the student for revision. (Each revision will lower the student’s grade by half a mark (ex. : from “B” to a “B-“). There are workshops, tutoring, and online exercises for students who need to refresh their grammar, MLA, or other writing skills.
Brenton Brister Prof. Choi 9/29/08 Sociology A Class Divided – Topic 2 During the course of the film, “A Class Divided” a gradually learned response to the people on the bottom of the experimental hierarchy was developed by the ones on the top. The teacher demonstrated the numerous ways that people might act on racial prejudices and the various reasons for their beliefs. In the classes of third-graders, it is relatively simple to see and understand how certain rifts can and do form between groups of the children. Due to the fact that the children are currently at a developmental level of their personality, the ability to obtain a learned response to racial prejudice is easy to understand. Whether it is a response that is one of the superiority side, or the reaction that is born of being the ones under oppression, the lesson enforces the idea that enables the brown-eyed and blue-eyed people to in turn learn the ways that racism is acted upon.
Also, buying healthier snacks may not taste as sweet as donuts or cakes but they do cost less. Students who decide to buy apples and oranges will save a few dollars, compared to those students who are buying donuts and cakes, because the money will start to add up more than they think it will. Making decisions such as eating healthier will also keep students healthy thus providing them with the nutrients to think and perform better during class. My aunt introduced an idea to me which makes sense and also saves money. The idea is called “Pot-lucking”, this is where people from the same dorm or floor puts money together and buys food for all students on the floor one week, and then the next week a different room has the same plan.

V sometimes struggled with white backgrounds and black text, so I |10 | |created a chart on a yellow background as I recalled V saying in a previous session that this was easier for him. |12 | |I made sure the class room was clear and that myself and V would not be interrupted during his reading session. I planned that in my role in |9 | |the session would be to praise and encourage but to mainly take a back seat once V was reading so he could feel in charge of the reading | | |session.
The quality of the reasoning depends on our ability to logically or dependably apply proper judgmental criteria. (Stiggins, 2008, p. 61) Evaluation is when one makes judgments about the value of ideas or materials (Bloom). During the second half of the school year, fourth graders are asked to write a simple research paper. Part of the learning is to introduce the students to the library resource (EBSCO) that is a search engine similar to an online catalog. To help students learn to evaluate appropriate resources I give the students a list of ten different magazines that they must evaluate.
