Also, I am someone who is involved in education and research and I think that it is amazing how learning to read is said to be a talent that it potentially impossible. Furthermore, it is very fascinating that the process of reading is actually a result of a tug-of-war between the material being read and the student, and hopefully there will be comprehension in the results from the material that is read. Additionally, the text maybe made up of phrases and characters in which will have a certain meaning. I have enjoyed this wonderful experience that I encountered while being in the classroom with wonderful students. I can honestly say that the teacher in the classroom did a great job with her students and I will be walking away with a bunch of awesome strategies and resources to take back to my own classroom to help with teaching reading and language arts.
Focusing so hard on excelling in English I was having a hard time acknowledging the basic sentence patterens staying devoted I past it. As growing up and still intrigue about learning more english, shockingly there is more that must be learn. Learning the importance of English I gained hobbies, education, and my writting technique. Over the years I have growned and I use English in my everyday life. I enjoy that I was able to learn how to comprehend the words that I was brought upon and use them to my advantage.As I got better understanding English I seem to be amired by books that keep me amazed by the knowledge that I learn from what I have read.
I felt that there were a lot of things I did well as a teacher. It didn’t take a lot of time for the students to open up to me, and feel comfortable to ask questions. I really enjoyed answering the questions each student had, and even teaching some students how to conjugate verbs and use them. I also thought that I did a great job in encouraging the students, and not letting them just slip by when I knew they were capable of doing better. In one case, we all had to make a fool of ourselves by dancing to the alphabet song, but I can guarantee that the students won’t soon forget the words to the song.

Taking the learning style assessment test was very interesting experience. I had no idea there different types of learners. I always thought that I was more of hands on learner and visual learner. After taking the assessment, I discovered that my learning style is auditory. As I reflect back, I noticed that I do read aloud to myself and I also enjoy working in groups and often participate in class discussions.
I liked that my teachers new me on a personal level. They knew my strengths and weakness in school. Kindergarten to second grade I never had a problem with reading or writing. When I entered the third grade the expectations of knowing how to read turned to reading and comprehending the meaning of the text. I thought that this would be very easy for me because I could read the text so why couldn’t I just comprehend it?
