I am highly organized, excellent in communication and customer service skills. I work productively, independently and with little or no supervision. I welcome the opportunity after becoming an License Nurse to help develop and demonstrate professional skills on communication in a patient care environment, while establiblishing characteristics that will balance my knowledge with practical expertise. In my life I want to change to a better stable financial stated, more challenging career, a better future, and continue to help others in a more advanced stage of advancement in my life. I have always wanted to be in the nursing field because of the stability and I have a care nature for every just about every living thing.
Learning is an experience needed to move forward in our day to day activities. More education brings more opportunity. The more educational experience you have, the more doors are open for you, just like many doors are open to nurses with a BSN, than nurses with a diploma or an associate degree. An associate degree nurse is a nurse with three years nursing training which are usually offered at community colleges. After graduating from the program the associate nurse is qualified to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) to become a registered nurse.
To become a certified RN, you need to have some sort of education after high school. There are 3 steps to accomplish to be a RN. The first step is to get the degree. The quickest common educational path to an RN degree begins with two years in Associate of Science in Nursing. If you want to become a registered nurse, you should truly consider taking a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
A Career in Nursing A career as a Registered Nurse has many rewards, benefits, and opportunities. Just imagine being able to care for a newborn baby during its’ first moments of life, or the since of satisfaction when a patient is at the brink of death, but makes a full recovery, in part to the care given, by a nurse, during their hospital stay. (Brittany Mason, 2010) This career will afford plenty of extra time. That time may be spent with family and friends, or possibly pursuing a hobby that interest you. The opportunities vary and are seemingly endless.
When becoming a nurse it should be something that you have always dreamed of this is a career that you should have passion for since it is working with people all day. When making the decision in becoming a nurse, I looked at all those options and still decided that this was the career for me. The median pay for a registered nurse is $64,690 a year or $31.10 a hour. In theory I think a nurse should be paid more because they do a lot of things and still don’t get paid enough in some states. Once I become a nurse I’m sure that I will make a great one and also be excited to come to the work place daily.
To me, nursing is not just a job; it is a life changing adventure, filled with new challenges every day. I greatly enjoy being a nurse and have an immeasurable passion for touching the lives of others. I want to be an RN because it will open more doors for me and further my opportunities. While I have had great pride in being an LVN, we are limited in our patient care and decision making. There are many qualities that a nurse must possess in order to be successful; respect, patience, good communication and critical thinking skills are only a few.
This advantage creates a variety of opportunities in different areas of healthcare. It also opens up the potential for participating in and contributing to medical research projects”. (onetonline.com) Another positive aspects of being a nurse practitioner they not only diagnose or treat specific problems, they help the patient and their families understand medical diagnosis and evaluate health care plains with individual patients. They can also help the patients by answering any questions they have about various medical treatments. While helping their patients with the healthcare planning they gain trust and friendship with their patients with this relationship it helps them treat their patients in the long term.
I loved going with her and see what she was doing like taking care of other people and help them get well. That is when I realized my passion for nursing and I wanted to be like my mom, a nurse, to help and care of others. When we look up the word “nurse” in the dictionary, we will read something like “somebody who cares for a sick person.” I believe that there is more into that simple definition. Nursing is a very powerful profession, it allows people to influence and touch lives. I am very willing to achieve this big responsibility.

I am interested in these careers because I love helping others and doing anything in my power to make others feel better. I enjoy working with others and helping others daily. A physician assistant and a nurse practitioner are common but differ in their unique ways and require two different paths to complete. A Physician Assistant (PA) is a skilled healthcare provider who is academically and clinically prepared to practice medical skill sunder the supervision of a licensed physician.
To be able to do this it will become more and more imparities that all nurses are trained to the same level. There is mounting evidence that that level of education needs to be the baccalaureate level. Nurses with higher levels of education have many competencies that associate and diploma level nurses do not. For every year a nurse is in school it is proven that their critical thinking, decision-making, and professionalism improve. As a country it will not be long before baccalaureate degrees are mandated for all nurses as they are in many places throughout the world.
