The worst case is that the woman cannot give birth or even death at all. Many women are regretting around the world because what they do. Therefore why we choose abort when it takes away an unborn life and a woman take a high risk between sickness and death. Is it worth to risking your life? I had read a narrative story in Abortion: A Collective Story Book.
Abortion is not only the killing of a fetus, but can also provide health risks for the mother and should be illegal. In addition Doctors are supposed to be saving lives, not killing unborn babies. Abortion also goes against what the Bible teaches. By 1965 abortion was illegal in the United States. Some states did include provisions allowing for abortion in limited circumstances; generally with the purpose of protecting the woman's life or pregnancies related to rape or incest.
Abortions are performed for many reasons, varying from rape and incest to teenage and fatalistic pregnancies. However, more and more political bills are trying to do whatever they can to dissuade these women from going through with the operation, with no regard as to what situation has brought them to this conclusion in the first place. It has reached a point where protestors from all over the nation have become infuriated with the absurd and medically unnecessary procedures
The Abortion Issue: Compare and Contrast Point-by-Point Format One of the most divisive issues in America is the controversy surrounding abortion. Currently, abortion is legal in America, and many people believe that it should remain legal. These people, pro-choice activists, believe that it is the women's right to chose whether or not to give birth. However, there are many groups who are lobbying Congress to pass laws that would make abortion illegal. These people are called the pro-life activists.
“Abortion is the intentional termination of a pregnancy after conception. It allows women to put an end to their pregnancies, but involves killing the undeveloped embryo or fetus. For this reason, it is a very controversial subject in American politics” (Tom Head, 2012: 1). In my opinion, there should not be a Constitutional amendment banning abortion. A woman should have the right to abort her baby for any reason that she feels necessary.
Abortion is one of the most persistently controversial issues in American culture and politics today. Since the 1973 national legalization of abortion, competing groups have fought to either restrict or increase access to the procedure, leading to heated debates among political activists, religious organizations, state legislatures, and judges. An abortion is defined as the termination of pregnancy (BPAS, 2010). Abortions are extremely common in our society today. There are two kinds of abortions in the U.S., which are in-clinic abortions and the abortion pill.
According to WebMD, the top 6 reasons people abort in the United States are birth control failure, inability to support a child, unwanted pregnancy, to prevent the birth of a child with birth defects, rape or incest, or physical and/or conditions that endanger the women’s health. Even though many of these reasons may be considered valid, there are other ways to solve the problem of an unwanted pregnancy. One way to solve this problem is by adoption. The National Survey of Family Growth estimates that 14,000 babies were voluntarily relinquished for adoption in the United States. There are more couples waiting to adopt a child than abortions performed in the United States.
The author argues that a pregnant woman still preserves right to abortion, if that creates threat to her life and health. However, such practice cannot be qualified as murder because similar decisions are made about criminals, hopeless patients, as well as lives of thousands of people
Should Abortion Be Legal Since abortion is legal in the United States. Should a woman have the right to abort her fetus? Even though it is her body is it mainly up to her. Life has choices that should be made with the intention of one’s better future according to (Hemingway). Abortion should not be legal because it is immoral.
The issue of abortion is an ongoing debate in the U.S, that involves a variety of moral, social, and legal issues. The ethics surrounding the procedure are frequently disputed and people often question whether abortion should remain a legal option for terminating pregnancies. Proponents of abortion, favor unrestricted access and contend that it’s a woman’s right to choose what she does with her body. On the other hand, opponents seek to ban the practice and argue that deliberately ending an unborn child’s life is morally wrong. While abortion provides essential medical and social benefits to women, it also deprives an innocent child of the right to life.
