According to McGrath the inclusivist viewpoint became popular in the 1890’s centered on words from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount that He came to fulfill not to destroy. Inclusivist thought could be summarized as “all that there is of truth and inspiration in other religions must find its fulfillment in Jesus Christ” (McGrath, 2011,
Christian Worldview Paper I Abstract It is true, knowledge and truth can in fact be sought out in different ways. The ways in which one may seek knowledge has a lot to do with their background or worldview. We all have opinions and biases based on what we have been taught or experienced A scientist will seek knowledge and base truth only on things that can be proven, by use of the scientific method. On the other hand Christians see truth as being what is God's word. There are people that feel the two can be integrated, but there are others that feel Christianity and science are not at all compatible.

Further, the book of Romans is key in helping believers strengthen the foundation of their faith by developing a solid biblical worldview. Natural World One of the biggest challenges today in developing a biblical worldview is that of a society that constantly tries to silence the Bible in key areas. Schools teach evolution as fact instead of theory, yet dismiss the biblical account of creation as false. This type of censorship is detrimental to the development of our children as they become indoctrinated from a very early age with false teachings. However, according to Paul, even then they will not be without excuse as creation itself makes it plain that there is a Creator and His qualities are evident in the beauty and detail of what’s been created (Romans 1:20).

In J.P. Moreland’s, Christianity and the Nature of Science, he discusses some of the basic presuppositions of science and points out how science alone is unable to explain the universe. 3 Therefor, nonbelievers contradict themselves by believing the universe has a natural cause despite the lack of observational evidence to support their theory. Moreland seems to wish for a world in which religion and science can completely understand each other, however it might be a detriment to Christian faith if such were true. The majority of the Bible depicts natural occurring events, however the Christian God is capable of miracles and phenomena that should not be understood further than His all-knowing wisdom and power. Therefor, the Christian response to scientific investigation should be to examine and understand to the extent of
To obtain maturity, obedience and hopefully a new or a closer relationship with Christ is the ultimate goal in Christian counseling. Maturity will enable the client to have a deeper desire to worship and find their purpose in life (Crabb, L. 1977). As a client matures he will be able to assess his situation in a more mature manner and be able to apply the learned skill received in counseling. Crabb discusses two elements of maturity which are long range character growth and immediate obedience in specific situations which will help them to better please God (Crabb, L. 1977). Roger’s theory similarly assumes will need to demonstrate genuineness and true concern toward the client will yield the same results (Kensit, D.
