My Personal Philosophy

My philosophy is to provide high quality care in the communities I serve. I consider trust and integrity to be essential in all my work. I am making commitment to perform my work honestly, with personal integrity and in adherence with all federal, state and local regulatory obligations affecting any mission I undertake. I respect and embrace the diversity of all communities. I will provide best care with my expertise and encourage participation from fellow students and professional colleagues. In addition, I respect all community member and fellow workers recognizing the valuable role each of them plays in serving the community.

My vision for nursing practice focuses on what is most beneficial to my patient. I want to build caring, trusting relationships with my patients and their families as well as play a positive role in their health outcome. All patients are different. I will try to individualize care for each of my patients so their personal, emotional, and physical needs can be met. I value each patient as an individual and respect his or her needs and dignity. My goal is to empower each patient to be active in their care and more knlowlagable about their disease process in to improve patient outcomes. Personally, I would like to continue to practice nursing care that is congruent with the best evidence to date, and continue to research and discover better ways of doing things. My vision of my nursing practice is to deliver quality and reliable patient care while promoting health in my community.

I believe patients their families, and the healthcare workers all deserve an environment that is safe and promotes wellness, physical and emotional healing, and learning. A patient’s room should be regarded as their own personal space. Patient privacy
