He is all-knowing, ever-present and all-good. Angels are the spiritual beings who carry out Allah’s will in the world. The Books of Allah are the Revelation of His intentions. The two main books include the Qur’an and the Hadith. Rusul are the messengers of Allah, also
Role of Orality in the Quran “Al-Quran” literally means the recitation. In the Quran, Allah is reciting his words to mankind through intricate patterns of Arabic text. Prophet Muhammad (s) received this revelation in the Arabic language and passed it down to his followers through oral recitation. Muslims are required to recite Quran verses at least five times a day, in their daily prayers. This is known as Salah, through which, one creates a spiritual link with Allah through reciting His words during prayer.
3.The Question of Meaning/Purpose-A Muslims purpose is to submit to Allah. They only believe that Allah's guidance is the only guidance as it has been told in the Holy Quran(Sura 6:71). There are various moral sources in Islam in which were established by Shariah. The Shariah states the Five Pillars of Islam set out the ethical duties in life and states the basic five activities that are included in the Five Pillars. These pillars in turn portray a Muslims surrender or submission to Allah (Muslim god). The Five Pillars of Islam are as follows: 1. Shahadah: This is the belief of all Muslims that Allah is one, he is the only god, and Muhammad (PBUH) is his messenger.
Above all other areas of dogma within Christianity, monotheism tops the list. Monotheism is the belief in one God who rules over all. This one God is the creator, and stabilizer of the universe we reside in. Christianity also believes in the Bible being the only set of scripture inspired by the word of God; Virgin Birth; martyrdom; the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ; the second coming of Christ; the creation of the world through the one true God; life after death; Hell; Paradise after death; and the Holy Trinity. Above all of these dogmas, the faith in a one creator God who rules the universe is the most important.
It also raises awareness of how practicality can affect Muslims in the way they follow their faith. Shaladat is the first of the five pillars of Islam and the Muslim profession of faith “There is no God but God; Muhammad is his Messenger” (la ilaha ila llah; Muhammadun rasul Allah) is repeated in a simple ritual to formally become a Muslim. This must be performed in Arabic with the left hand on the heart and the right hand held palm upwards at the right ear. There must also be a qualified witness present. This is the first ritual a Muslim will perform and the simple statement expresses total commitment to the message of Islam.
Therefore, there must have existed a first mover independent of anything else, this being God – the prime mover. The Kalam cosmological argument is an Islamic argument that tries to prove there is a cause for the existence of the world. It believes that everything that begins to exist has a cause of its existence. The universe began to exist therefore; the universe has a cause for its existence. The Muslims who initiated the kalam cosmological argument believe that it is obvious that God is the cause for the universe and so they do not look for evidence instead they believe God simply is the answer.
Islam, the youngest religion in all three, was founded by Muhammad. In Islam, Muhammad is the last and the greatest prophet of the God and received revelations from the God. Muhammad agreed with some elements in Judaism and he was familiar with Christianity. He preached the messages which he believed was sent by God in Arabic countries. After all the messages were collected and written down in Koran—the Islamic
The Five Pillars of Islam The religion of Islam has been divided into a few different sects. Each has varying beliefs but all keep similar practices contained in each. These are called the Five Pillars of Islam. These practices are expected to be carried out by every Muslim as each are believed to come as a commandment from God. The Five Pillars of Islam The central belief in Islam is that there is only one God, Allah, who is omnipotent. The overall purpose of humanity is to serve Allah and construct a moral lifestyle. In Islam, the Koran (or Qur’an)teaches that making the world a better place is the responsibility of every human, and that they must conduct themselves in a way in which peace, purity and selflessness is abundant. In order to abide by this lifestyle there are five pillars of Islam that must be followed. 1.
