One of my strengths includes leading by example and earning the respect and loyalty of my team members. Assigned goals are achieved by employees who match the same efforts demonstrated by their fearless leader. Every team member is treated with respect and is a valued team player. This type of management style boosts confidence and increases the drive to succeed. Team members are eager to satisfy assigned tasks given from a leader who supports and assists their efforts.

The four basic beliefs of the humanistic theory include the presence of a person, that person taking personal responsibility for their actions, and that person also believing that they are worthy. Lastly, that person will personally grow and understand. Carl Rogers believes that everyone needs to build self regard on their self concept - and then build unconditional positive regard. Unconditional positive regard when others demonstrate unconditional love. Rogers believes that psychologically healthy people enjoy life to the fullest.

You have to keep in mind the company’s overall objectives even if you work for a particular department, because you are one among the many people in the organization. Each individual has to bear in mind to work together with unity, support each other and take the job as your own. Team work is much more rewarding that individual work, where you put yourself in other people’s place and think why it was done, and why they thought so.

Leadership: Leadership plays a key role in setting the tone of an organisation and trust in the leadership has positive influences on employee behavior. If the leaders are perceived as trustworthy, full of integrity and honorable, employees are encouraged and motivated to be more productive. They are also confident to voice out their concerns through communication committees or engagement surveys because they trust that action will be taken on their views and opinion.Organisational structure: a structure which controls, coordinates and motivates employees through policies, procedures and expectation to achieve the organisational goal is required. Efficiency is enabled by monitoring and managing employee’s performances through processes such as appraisals, reward and recognition and incentives. I believe personally acknowledging employees is important because each employee deserves to be recognized for their individual work product and contributions made to the organization. I want my staff to understand I appreciate and value each and every contribution. I believe acknowledgement builds self-confidence in the employee and encourages others to work in a team environment.
