In addition to taking pride in their own personal work, I believe that employee engagement is a result of an employee’s pride in their organization’s work and their belief that they play a role in the achievement of the overall mission. It has been my experience that employees are more likely to be engaged when they believe their work is meaningful and that it is valued by their employer in terms of recognition and compensation. Therefore, true engagement can result only when an employee is both fully committed to his or her own contributions
The role of the team leader is to motivate people to effective and hard work to the highest standards by promoting positive teamwork and by acknowledging their efforts. A Team leader should be able to recognise and understand that the team is build by people of different values and personalities; help people achieve work related and personal goals and bring out what's the best in them. Very often A team leader acts as a link between line staff and senior management of the organisation. In my workplace both team leaders are the link between the team and senior administration manager and director manager of Women’s' Services. We are informed about all changes that affects our directorate on a timely manner, we are up to date with any innovation and changes brought to the Trust.
A transformational leaders inspire positive changes in those who follow. They empower followers to do what is best for the organization. They are strong role models with high values. This type of leader listens to all viewpoints to develop a spirit of cooperation. They create a vision, using people in the organization.

Of course all of us like to be recognized for a job well done. By using this technique Woodside would be able to understand each of his subordinates to be and see what are the things that motivate each one of them to get to final destination for the good of the company. The Career Plan Building Activities made me realize I have strengths in the areas of coping with pressure, delivering result, following instructions, and adapting to change. These strengths will help me to be an excellent leader and encourage employees to do their best to deliver positive results for the company. I will be able to handle any circumstance and make beneficial and effective decisions. I will have to make sure I am thinking critically when evaluating arguments. I know how to recognize fallacies and can judge the validity and credibility of the source.
