Mental health professionals practice active listening and encourage the client to express their feelings. Mental health counselors develop and implement treatment plans based on the client’s physical or mental condition. Client information is collected through interviews, observations or tests which guide counselors in the development of therapeutic information strategies that will help clients deal with their problems by targeting at-risk behaviors which promotes optimum mental and emotional well-being of the client (Erford, 2010). Over the past decade organizations have come to the realization that mental health professionals need to become competent in cross cultural interactions. Competent multicultural mental health professionals play a key role in success of mental health counseling interventions (Connerley & Pederson, 2005).
This will include my belief that each person deserves to have a careful assessment or initial consultation from therapist to client and after careful consideration of the clients needs and preferences that the most appropriate screed would be used to benefit the client. . I will also discuss two very different hypnotherapists namely Dave Elman and Milton H Erickson. Lastly I will discuss hypnosis and mental health, and the tools that are often used in Hypnotherapy for assessment of a client, and to score an individual, which aids the hypnotherapist in the decision as to which style of screed to use in their clients therapy. Returning to the essay title, analizing the question as

In the scenario, Emergency department staff members were likely shaken by this poor outcome of Mr. B., and would be motivated to change to a safer model just to avoid a repeat in the future. Staff members may be reluctant to change because of established habits in patient flow. This reluctance to change would be an identifiable restraining force, which opposes process improvement. Implementing a model which allows for rapid, safe adjustment to increasing acuity would help avoid poor outcomes in the future. Follow-up is

Assess the effects on those using the service of three different discriminatory practices in health and social care settings. Setting: Elderly Care Home Infringement on rights Infringement on rights is when the basic human rights are taken away from people, causing discriminatory practice whereby they will almost certainly not be receiving a good quality of care. Dependant on what rights are being taken away can vary the physical development, an example being that if the service user was to lose out on their right not to be treated inhuman or degrading way. There are many ways in which this right can be infringed on, such as if they have been attacked physically or psychologically in any way, which can then cause a knock on effect, especially during later adulthood, causing their bodies to become weaker. Due to this stage in life their bodies are already at a higher risk of harm and if this right was to be broken it may speed up this physical developmental norm.
When a nurse breaches this trust patient outcomes can be jeopardized. Education is important with this form of treatment so clients can recognize how different factors affect the course of the disease and what they can do to manage these factors (Steinkuller and Rheineck 342). Family therapy is also a means of treatment where family members as well as the client see a mental health provider to find solutions and ways to deal with the disorder. Family involvement provides structure and could increase adherence to treatment leading to delays or reductions in relapses (Steinkuller and Rheineck 342). Interpersonal and social rhythm therapy involves stabilizing social and circadian rhythms based on the hypotheses that unstable daily routines result in increased bipolar episodes in individuals prone to them (Steinkuller and Rheineck 349). Social rhythm therapy recognizes the need for regular sleep/wake cycles, regulation of meals, exercise, sleep and plans for keeping rhythms stable when disruptions occur.
In addition, doctors look for any appearances of slow growth both prenatal and postnatal. Some other indications that doctors consider are behavioral characteristics and neurodevelopmental characteristics in the child (Buckley, Budacki,Ismail, Gallicano, & Jabbar, 2009) . After the initial evaluation by the doctor, the next step would be to get a specialist involved to complete a comprehensive assessment. The comprehensive assessment can be completed by a psychologist, psychiatrist, or any other mental health professional that is licensed and knowledgeable to conduct assessment. A professional has to be careful when diagnosing a child with FAS because there are many other psychological, medical, and psychiatric disorders that can be easily confused with FAS.
